Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: The heatsink and fan

My conclusion is that I find that this is a good value for money computer and one that I find that I will have no immediate need to replace for a long time. Definetely a good computer in the budget low cost computer division....

HP Touchsmart TX2 Multitouch and Windows 7 Ready Tablet PC

Advantages: Great support for Windows 7 and Multitouch functionality.
Disadvantages: A little pricey in comparrison to standard machines.

...I have been a fan of the Ipaq since the days of the old Compaq 3600 (way back in the summer of 99!). Since then I have had the Ipaq 5500 (the finger print reader) and now onto my third the new HX4700 (the one with the track pad!). Being familiar with the Ipaq's of old, the first thing I noticed when I unpacked the box was how thin the new Ipaq was, very thin, when compared to my old 5500. The looks though may not be to everyone's tastes, but it does the job. I have noticed though that HP seem to be getting more and more stingy on the "included" accessories. No more slip on case, spare pens nothing! With the 4700 all you get is the one stylus, a docking cradle and a plastic flap/cover for the screen. Hmmmm not looking too good so far then. The HP iPAQ Pocket PC h2210 is now reasnobly cheap for a PDA and has exellent programs for work purposes like pocket word and exel plus many more and others wich can be brought separately. The graphics are outstanding with just about no faults. This is backed up by a processor speed of 400Mhz wich is fast compared to others on the market, but isnt fast enough to download music files or movies from the internet. this brings me on to my next point, the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h2210 can conect to the internet via the normal method, dial up/ broad band or by certain mobile phones, im afraid i dont know how this works...

Those of you who remember my stunning, wrongly uncrowned review of the HP300 will remember how it ran out after just 140 pages. Well, this time I splashed out on the upgrade. Basically, these cost £30 each, although I picked them up on ebay for around £19 brand new and sealed. They are print cartridges that do a lot more than the HP300. ...technlogy come along this should do just fine. There's no floppy disk drive, although there is a memory card reader at the front that will handle all common card formats. The recordable DVD drive will write + and -R/RW discs as well as dual layer DVD+Rs, while there is also a second DVD drive. The case looks very neat and its good to have many of the features accessable from the front. Software includes Windows XP Home, WinDVD SE, WinDVD Creator and HP Image Zone. I've used this PC together with the HP pavilion f1723 monitor with great success, and would advise you to consider it if you are looking for a new PC....
