...This is a printer with class, and it produces photos to boot as well. It can literally print any photos from a vast array of media cards (note the no of slots) or direct from camera using pict-bridge. The quality of the photos is reasonable with normal colour and black catridge, but becomes professional when using a photo cartridge coupled with photo paper. Generally you cannot fault its ability to reproduce office documents in sharp clarity and relatively quick speed (depending on settings). But beware of using draft prints as this for some reason causes the printer to jam or crumple through the process. Ink catridges suprisingly outlast any other inkjet I have owned. ...The main thing I really love about this little printer is that you don’t need a PC and you don’t need any software to work it. Just plug in, insert your memory card and away you go!!! The PhotoSmart 130 is easily transportable, measuring only 8.8 by 7.9 by 4.9 inches and weighing less than three pounds. Compatible with either PC or Macintosh, all drivers, power cords, and ink cartridges are included right in the box. HP Photo and Imaging software is also included. The display on top is easy to use, you can select a range of photos you want to print from the memory card so you don’t have to print everything that is on it. ...I bought this camera from Comet a few months ago for £199.00, for that I got the hp photosmart R707digital camera with hp instant share. hp photosmart R07 rechargeable lithium ion battery, hp photosmart 3.3v AC adapter, USB cable for connecting camera to PC. USB cable for connecting camera to printer, user manualm user's manual on CD, CD with hp image zone software for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh, hp memories disc creator, and ArcSoft Panorama Maker 3.5. and a wrist strap. I was easy to get started and learn how to use the basics, so you can start clicking away taking your photos. the photos come out very clear - though sometimes its hard to get the lighting right with the auto flash, which can make the photo come out a little dark. ...I have just bought one of these small, lightweight, portable printers and am delighted with it. I cannot agree with the previous review that says prints are of poor quality as mine are very good. Perhaps it depends on the quality of the camera? The HP 145 was very easy to set up and I had printed my first photo within 10 minutes of un packing the box. I really like the fact that you can choose to use with a PC or as a stand alone printer. I am looking forward to being able to take photos and print them off almost immediately at family functions. Although you cannot preview the photos on the LED screen, you can print off an index card with 28 mini photos per page so you know which ones you want to print. This is a nice little feature that I found very useful. Overall, a nice little printer for the money and I would recommend it.... Read review
