HP Photosmart C 7280

Advantages: Great quality, connectivity
Disadvantages: Software

...This is a great printer with many use fetures but the software is a bit frustrarting, especially if you are just trying to print one page. The printer gives professional quality from photos even if you are using one of the built in memory card slots or if you are printing from a computer. The quality is stunning for an inkjet printer and although it is a big printer it is worth it. The photocopier is exceptional and the Automatic Document Feed is always useful especially in an office, altough i use mine at home. the small screen is perfect for previewing photos and the two paper trays (one for A4 and the other for photo paper) are neatly slotted under the machine. This printer is easy to use but the software can be a bit fiddly. This printer is definately great value for money and i would recommend to all who need a printer...

HP Photosmart A526

Advantages: Small, simple
Disadvantages: A bit too simple

...The basic description The HP photosmart A526 is a photograph printer that doesn't need a computer to use. It has a 2.4" LCD colour screen for previewing photos before you print. You scroll through the contents of your memory card and selct and print the photo you want. If you wish to edit any photos, you can plug it into a computer beforehand. The idea seems based around convenience and portablity. Technical Information *Inkjet Technology - HP Thermal Inkjet *Print Speed up to 0.6 min/page - Photo draft - 4 in x 6 in , up to1.3 min/page - Photo - 4 in x 6 in *Built-in Devices Preview screen *Preview Screen Size 2.4" *Connectivity Technology Wired *Interface USB *Max Resolution ( B&W ) 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi *Max Resolution ( Color ) 4800 dpi x 1200 dpi *Direct Printing Specifications PictBridge *Language...

HP Photosmart - A Smart Desicion!

Advantages: Fun & Simple to use without a PC, loads of features, touchscreen
Disadvantages: Max paper size 5" x 7"

...I saw this printer advertised back in July when I was trying to get to grips with all the photo's stored on my hard drive. I'm never without my digital camera, in fact I probably use it daily but the photo's always end up getting shoved onto my computer and forgotten about. If anyone else is reading this and knowing exactly what I mean then I would definitely recommend the HP Photosmart A626 to them! The HP Photosmart A626 is a compact photo printer designed solely for photo printing. It can print on paper up to 5" x 7" although I tend to print standard postcard sized prints of 4" x 6" (A6). It boasts printing speeds of up to 39 seconds per 10x15cm colour print, although in my experience it usually takes more like 60 seconds per colour print (still not bad for good quality prints). As I mentioned the A626 is a compact photo...

HP PHOTOSMART PRO B9180 - TOP NOTCH

Advantages: Quality of print no matter what size
Disadvantages: Cost

...Technology used (HP Thermal Inkjet) certainly works well. Also this printer automatically detects the size of paper you are using. The quality is as good in large prints as in small. **********SPEED********* Definately the print speeds are very good with this model. It can easily produce a A3+ print in less than 2min 30secs, to an excellent standard. *********** WARRANTY*********** The standard warranty for this product is a one-year limited hardware warranty, but I know that this can be extended at some dealers. ***********INCLUDED********** The Photo Printer itself (obviously), HP 70 Printheads (x4), HP 38 Pigment Ink Cartridges with Vivera Inks (8 individual ink cartridges), HP Photosmart Premier Software on CD-ROM, HP ProPrint plug-in for Adobe Photoshop®, user's guide, power cord and a quick start booklet...

All for one

Advantages: Focuses on friendships
Disadvantages: Concepts may be difficult for very young children to understand

...All for one. Another book by Jill Murphy, who over the years has been quite a prolific children's story book writer This one focuses on friendships, and is a great book to read to children who might be going through problems with friends, and who may feel they are being left out of things. THE STORY AND ILLUSTRATIONS. The story begins with Marlon, who is a dragon, and also the main character in the story, running out of things to do. He had done all of his favourite things, like drawing and making secret caves, and goes to his granny to say that he wished he had someone to play with. Granny and mum get him to tidy up his mess, and he goes outside where he finds his friends hitting each other with swords. They are playing the Three Muskateers and when Marlon asks if h can join in, they won't let him, because there are of course...

HP PhotoSmart D7160 - one year of use

Advantages: Easy to use. Good colour reproduction. Easy to change inkjets.
Disadvantages: Must use 100 gsm paper or else printer constantly jams or damages output

...I bought this printer because I was fed up forking out lots of money for ink jet cartridges which would run out of one colour and mean that the rest of the ink was unused. So in December 2007 I purchased the HP PhotoSmart D7160. This printer has individual inkjet cartridges for each colour. However in January 2008 the printer just packed up and would not work. I contacted Hewlett Packard and explained that I had no idea why it would not work. They were very helpful, non-judgemental and identified the problem (technical and beyond my ken) and arranged for me to send the printer back. The carrier collected it and replaced it with a brand new printer. It worked like a dream. The aftersales service cannot be faulted. I use the printer for making leaflets and printing photgraphs. This means I tend to use a lot of blue and black...

HP Photosmart 433

Advantages: Lightweight, easy to use
Disadvantages: Sliding lens cover easily opens and runs your batteries down quick

...I got this camera as part of a package that also included the HP 1200 Psc series printer/scanner copier all-in-one. It has taken loads of picture of reasonable quality. Unfortunately I didn't get all the extra cables, the tripod, mains adater or the camera dock and wasn't expecting to find any of them either. But I did get the USB cable and a piece that attaches to the base of the camera prior to putting it on the camera dock as a sort of incentive I think. I must also add that it comes with a 64MB SD memory card and I know it can be upgraded to at least 512MB as I have done so and will hold up to and over 1000 photos, but not that much if you take a lot of video clips. ***Specifications*** Resolution - 3.27MP (2096 by 1560) Total pixel count, but only 3.14MP (2048 by 1536) effective pixels. Video clips are 1/4 VGA (320 by 240...

A Leap in Technology - the HP Photosmart C4585

Advantages: Wireless printing and scanning saves time and money for business
Disadvantages: Sometimes needs turned on/off when scanning lots of documents

...I received the HP Photosmart C4585 as a Christmas 2008 present and so am not sure how much was paid for it- though I know it was bought from Curry's. To sum up in the first paragraph all I can say is that this in an incredible piece of technology- the freedom of not having to plug in printers and scanners into my laptop is a great asset that I did not think I could appreciate to such an extent. The product was found in excellent condition upon opening the packaging due to the strong polystyrene inserts that fitted the box like a glove. Inside all the relevent user manuals, quick start guide (for both windows and apple), warranty cards and sample ink cartridges were included. When paired with my wireless-g network this printer/scanner/copier took approximately 30 minutes too set up. I am quite computer literate so perhaps a complete...

HP C4480 Printer - Great all-rounder

Advantages: High text and image print quality; prints, scans and copies; good value for money
Disadvantages: Not got wireless; software is a bit complicated

...I purchased this printer about 9 months ago, for starting my second year at university (my previous printer packed up). At the time, I got it for around £40, as it was on offer in Tesco; the price varies but you can definitely still pick it up for under £50, though it is worth keeping an eye out for special offers in stores. This printer/photocopier/scanner all-in-one unit is a fantastic bargain, offering so many features for the price. As a student, it is in regular use, printing out lecture slides, coursework and other documents. Word documents print quickly, even on the higher quality settings, and the text is always clear (except on the ultra-fast draft setting where the alignment of text goes a bit off). Although I do not often print photos, this printer has produced great results on the occassions when I have. Colours are bright...

HP Photosmart 7260 Inkjet Printer Review

Advantages: Small, Card Readers, Nice prints, Good Value
Disadvantages: Paper jams, Lack of borderless A4 printing, costly cartridges

...have seen figures for the 5150 of 3.1p (4.5c) per mono page, and 9.4p (13c) per colour page. It claims to produce 125 photos (10x15cm) from a photo cartridge, but presumably this would also use a colour cartridge up. This would put the ink costs at 34p (48c) per photo. Compatible and remanufactured cartridges are obtainable, but still quite hard to find, and nearly as expensive as original HP ones. And I've not tried refilling the cartridges yet. But you've got to try to deprive the printer manufacturers' of this income to discourage them from using this ridiculous marketing model. And then there's the paper costs... For borderless 6x4" photos, you'll need paper with a special tab. HP charge 30p/photo just for this. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the HP Photosmart 7260 and would recommend it for light-moderate users wanting to print...
