...The basic description The HP photosmart A526 is a photograph printer that doesn't need a computer to use. It has a 2.4" LCD colour screen for previewing photos before you print. HP C4480 Printer - Great all-rounder

Advantages: High text and image print quality; prints, scans and copies; good value for money
Disadvantages: Not got wireless; software is a bit complicated

...; it is rather complicated, but is ok once you've figured it out and got the hang of it. Changing the cartridges is really simple - this printer takes HP 350 black ink cartridges, and HP 351 tri-colour ink cartridges. These are also available in 'XL' sizes, which provide a lot more ink for your money - really good value. Special HP 348 photo cartridges are also available, for those wanting to print high-quality images. The front flap folds in completely flush with the rest of the printer, which is great for saving space when it's out of use. Whilst the printer offers fantastic value for money and all the features you could possibly want, the software is probably the main thing that lets it down. The software is slightly fiddly to use and not overly logical, however you soon get used to it, and personally I do not often need to use it...

HP Photosmart 7260 Inkjet Printer Review

Advantages: Small, Card Readers, Nice prints, Good Value
Disadvantages: Paper jams, Lack of borderless A4 printing, costly cartridges

...Summary: Fast, Quiet, Small, Fantastic print quality with card readers but prone to printer jams, flimsy and Expensive to Run. Recommended! Having seen HP's DeskJet 5150 recommended, I thought I'd check out the opposition, and found the new Photosmart 7260 uses the same print cartridges as its popular big brother. So I figured, same running costs, same print quality. Not having tried a 5150, I can't test my theory, but I can say I'm delighted with the print quality both for text and photos. This is much better than my old Lexmark 7200, and colours are more vibrant than the Canon i450, which I also tried. And for the same price as the 5150, you get card readers, and a smaller package. So I bought it as a general-purpose printer. On the downside the construction is a little flimsy, and the in-tray will only take 100 sheets of A4...

HP Photosmart - A Smart Desicion!

Advantages: Fun & Simple to use without a PC, loads of features, touchscreen

...I saw this printer advertised back in July when I was trying to get to grips with all the photo's stored on my hard drive. I'm never without my digital camera, in fact I probably use it daily but the photo's always end up getting shoved onto my computer and forgotten about. If anyone else is reading this and knowing exactly what I mean then I would definitely recommend the HP Photosmart A626 to them! The HP Photosmart A626 is a compact photo printer designed solely for photo printing. It can print on paper up to 5" x 7" although I tend to print standard postcard sized prints of 4" x 6" (A6). HP Photosmart 325 printer

Advantages: Portable printing on the move without a PC
Disadvantages: Limited to one size of prints

...and twisting it converted from a British 3 pin plug to a continental 2 pin, very clever. The only criticism really is the size of the LCD display, although it is adequate it would benefit from being larger. (newer models do have larger displays I believe). I bought the printer as a package which included the printer, an HP bag, cables and battery. All in all I have been delighted with this printer and recommend it to anyone who wants painless 6" X 4" printing on the go....

HP PhotoSmart D7160 - one year of use

Advantages: Easy to use. Good colour reproduction. Easy to change inkjets.
Disadvantages: Must use 100 gsm paper or else printer constantly jams or damages output

...I bought this printer because I was fed up forking out lots of money for ink jet cartridges which would run out of one colour and mean that the rest of the ink was unused. So in December 2007 I purchased the HP PhotoSmart D7160. This printer has individual inkjet cartridges for each colour. However in January 2008 the printer just packed up and would not work. I contacted Hewlett Packard and explained that I had no idea why it would not work. They were very helpful, non-judgemental and identified the problem (technical and beyond my ken) and arranged for me to send the printer back. The carrier collected it and replaced it with a brand new printer. It worked like a dream. The aftersales service cannot be faulted. I use the printer for making leaflets and printing photgraphs. This means I tend to use a lot of blue and black...

A Leap in Technology - the HP Photosmart C4585

Advantages: Wireless printing and scanning saves time and money for business
Disadvantages: Sometimes needs turned on/off when scanning lots of documents

...I received the HP Photosmart C4585 as a Christmas 2008 present and so am not sure how much was paid for it- though I know it was bought from Curry's. To sum up in the first paragraph all I can say is that this in an incredible piece of technology- the freedom of not having to plug in printers and scanners into my laptop is a great asset that I did not think I could appreciate to such an extent. The product was found in excellent condition upon opening the packaging due to the strong polystyrene inserts that fitted the box like a glove. Inside all the relevent user manuals, quick start guide (for both windows and apple), warranty cards and sample ink cartridges were included. When paired with my wireless-g network this printer/scanner/copier took approximately 30 minutes too set up. I am quite computer literate so perhaps a complete...

...I got this camera as part of a package that also included the HP 1200 Psc series printer/scanner copier all-in-one. It has taken loads of picture of reasonable quality. Unfortunately I didn't get all the extra cables, the tripod, mains adater or the camera dock and wasn't expecting to find any of them either. But I did get the USB cable and a piece that attaches to the base of the camera prior to putting it on the camera dock as a sort of incentive I think. I must also add that it comes with a 64MB SD memory card and I know it can be upgraded to at least 512MB as I have done so and will hold up to and over 1000 photos, but not that much if you take a lot of video clips. ***Specifications*** Resolution - 3.27MP (2096 by 1560) Total pixel count, but only 3.14MP (2048 by 1536) effective pixels.
