Blackberry Curve 8310

...So bear with me as this is my first stab at writing a technology review but I received a new Blackberry for work a few weeks ago and I'm really pleased with it so I though I would write a review on it. The model in question is the Blackberry Curve 8310 Smartphone. I got mine free but with price plans available with the different service providers it can be anywhere up to £200 I believe. The first thing I noticed about the phone (which is what made me choose it and as you can probably tell that I'm not very technologically minded!) is that it looks good. The phone has a lovely metallic finish, almost like a gunmetal grey colour to it although it does come in a pink version too (I wasn't allowed this for work unfortunately!) Microsoft Curve- Fantastic

Advantages: Price, Layout, Hot Keys, Easy of Use, Quality
Disadvantages: Takes a couple of weeks to get used to

...Bought the Keyboard a couple of months ago to replace my old dell one that came with the computer. I didn't get on with the way that the keys didn't always work or respond. The Curve keyboard is so good as it is like normal desktop keys with the flatness and comfort of a typical laptop keyboard. I am using it now and find it great for touch typing as i can just slide my fingers around the board to type at a nice constant pace. The layout of the keyboard is interesting, the middle keys are larger than the ones to the side. Microsoft say this is for easy of use in the typical method of typing that many people use. I have to say that i took me a week or two of using the keyboard before getting used to the way that the keys are positioned and shaped. However months on i am incredibly happy with the layout as it is much easier to use...

...We have been looking for a good quality laptop at the right price, so when we saw the HP G60 for £379 we went for it. The laptop is has a good specification. It has 3GB of RAM which is more than enough to run Windows Vista, a 250 GB hard drive, and 2 GHz AMD Turion dual core processor which means it is more that quick and powerful enough to hand most things. The screen is 15.6 inches (a fraction larger than the standard 15.4 on most laptops) and has a glossy finish, there is little glare and ample brightness and contract in it.
