...This toner is designed for use with the HP Laserjet 1100 series printers. We have a number of these printers at the company I work for and so make use of these toners quite a lot. The toner is quoted as having a page life of 2,500 pages and retails at a price of around £40. The cartridge comes packaged in a large box with the toner type clearly labelled on the front, which is handy. The toner is secured within the box by two large cardboard holders and comes in package that closely resembles bin bag material! In Use This toner cartridge has been sensibly designed so as to make it a fairly easy process when removing an old toner and replacing with a new one. The toner itself slots into the printer, and so this means the old toner just needs to be removed from the holding slots in the toner bay and the new one put in its place... Read review

Advantages: None breaksdown within 2 weeks, utter crap wouldnt buy another HP product again.
Disadvantages: Poor quality parts in this machine, printer breaks after 2 weeks this is not acceptable.

...This was a good printer while it lasted, it gave good quality printing,scanning,copying.Running costs were higher than most but this is due to the cartridges having their own printheads built in. I wrote a review saying good things about this printer at first, I have since deleted it and here is the reason why. I have had this printer 2 weeks, the printhead is stalled message keeps appearing, it will not print. If you read the article on http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/inkjet/13637 these are all complaints about HP printers in general having this same fault, where that a broken badly designed and cheap cog/gear that fails. There is over 50 pages of complaints on the above site with this same fault on HP printers.One of the posts on the above site is from a place that sells HP printer they quote "HP printers cheap crap... ...I have run a IT department for over 10 years and have seen many Computer suppliers in that time. I have now standarized on Compaq throughout the company for Desktops because I find that they have worked hard on what used to be very poor in customer service. We tend to now buy EP series because they suit our needs. We are not power users but use standard off the shelf products like Microsoft Office Pro and terminal emulation software for accessing our Unix system. The speeds are more than adequate for most users, why do you need disc access speeds of .00000001 msec if you are only typing memos and reports with 2 fingers. Service calls , which I must admit are not often, are dealt with in an efficient manner by Compaq Direct. Users Manuals are never opened by most users so why spend huges budgets on them. ...I wanted to upgrade my printer for one that could print photos. When I saw the 3 in 1 (minus fax) I thought great!!!!!!!!!!! I can even put the memory cards in from my camcorder and digi cam. Because the product was out of stock, I decided to pay that little bit more for this product, save me running to mum every time I needed to fax someone. Buying Hewlett Packard you think quality. For quality, you have to think pricely. At the time of me buying the product I thought it was money well spent until competitors brought their version out alot cheaper. There are so many advantages of owning this product, like only one item, a few less wall sockets to find, the quality of the photos that are printed, the copy speed, the name Hewlett Packard itself. But then there are the disadvantages, the cost of new cartridges, finding a large enough... Read review

...I bought this product second hand, and found it to be very satisfactory. The laptop had lasted very well, and was in excellent condition (i.e. the build quality was good). It is a very stable machine as well, and the hardware support from HP is excellent. My only gripe with this laptop is the connection for the external CD drive, which has a flimsy cover over its port. The double mouse is very good and the screen is excellent quality. I would definitely buy one of these again if not another HP laptop.... Read review
