...Having read the review of this HP TouchSmart IQ770 I was doubting whether or not to buy it. However I am very glad that I did, I absolutely love it This PC has a lot going for it, it is very stylish and modern looking, excellent 19" TFT screen which can be moved up and down to suit most peoples height. The keyboard can be slotted just under the pc into its own niche which, if you need it, gives plenty of space on your desk. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless and you have to configure them to pc when you first set up. I must admit the keyboard can be a bit tempremental in that it will often not type the key you hit, or will type it twice, but must also that as the keyboard is quite small, it is sometimes down to me as I hit the wrong key. I also feel that the keyboard needs to "warm up" before it will start to behave...

...well, this device if it had a metal case would be very efficient at cooking your breakfast not just its own hard drive. although i must admit that hp were kind enough to replace its hard disk drive twice in less than a month. 5 stars for that HP! but really in my own personal opinion this machine is heavily overpriced considering its performance. although it does look nice its comes with windows vista home premium installed which makes light work of this pc's lack of resources. and not forgetting the temperature issue, i have at this very moment checked the temperates and would like to say that under a very light load, (ie, only running mozilla firefox and zonealarm security suite and windows obviously) This pc will sit quite comfortably at a CPU temperature of 64*c and a GPU temp 54*c. personally i wouldn't expect to see this high...

The WOW factor - but at a price

Advantages: Clean, space-saving design
Disadvantages: Windows Vista, terrible keyboard

...cost you have every right to expect a keyboard that is accurate. This is not the case with the IQ770. The keyboard will often miss typed characters, or input the same character several times. HP have no solution to this, and I had to plug in a USB keyboard to make it usable. Obviously the new keyboard does not slot under the unit, thus spoiling the clean lines (the very thing that will attract most buyers to pay over the odds for this PC). The supplied keyboard also eats batteries at an alarming rate (4 AA Duracells every 10 days!!!). If you don't do a lot of typing on your PC you may well be able to live with this. As someone who makes their living with a PC, I couldn't, and have returned the unit for a full refund. Because of this I have revised this review to 'not recommended'...

Post Aug 2008, a lot of penny pinching from the company's greatest asset (it's people) started to be, I think, the beginnng of the company's downfall. Paying for the cheapest delivery company that damage the goods or just don't deliver at all, is false economy and did nothing but insult the loyalty of the associates.. Most of the books can be bought elsewhere cheaper - it's called google and when things went out of stock with Mini IQ I always chose to purchase from Amazon or elsewhere in order to maintain good service to my customers and not let them down after Mini IQ's warehouse went out of stock. This was not something I was taught it was something I did to keep customers happy. I even made a profit as the prices on amazon were often lower than...

...This range of print cartridges from HP is the bigger and better version of the HP300. Those of you who remember my stunning, wrongly uncrowned review of the HP300 will remember how it ran out after just 140 pages. Well, this time I splashed out on the upgrade. Basically, these cost £30 each, although I picked them up on ebay for around £19 brand new and sealed. They are print cartridges that do a lot more than the HP300. The black and white cartridge will give 600 pages of print (4 times what I got out of its baby brother at just twice the price). The colour one gives 440 pages.
