...AFTER HOURS OF CUTTING MY NEVER ENDING HEDGES WITH SHEARS, I DECIDED TO PURCHASE A HEDGE CUTTER, WITH NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM, I DECIDED TO GO FOR THE HT400 MODEL, IT WAS MIDDLE OF THE PRICE RANGE AND WHEN COMPARED TO THE DESCIPTION OF OTHER MAKES I THOUGHT THAT IT MADE SENSE TO CHOOSE THIS ONE. I DID FIND IT REASONABLY LIGHT, LOTS OF FLEX, WHICH I NEEDED!, REASONABLY POWERFUL AND IT DEFINATELY DID THE JOB. HOWEVER THIS YEAR WHEN I USED IT THE MOTOR SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS STRUGGLING AND THE HANDLE SNAPPED CLEAN OFF, UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME IT WAS JUST OUT OF GUARANTEE. Advantages: Fast and powerfall machine
Disadvantages: the fan is not in a place so you can put it on your lap

...let me just say i love this machine i run mine on xp pro and upgraded the memary to 512mb and to be honist it will still compeat in power with a machine sold today there is just one problem the fan is placed on the bottom of the macine just where you leg would be if you put it on your lap and it can get quite hot but for this machines raw speed you can forgive it with its 2.6gb ht prosseser {yes HT} and gforce 5100 FX {pixal shader 2} grahics i got a 3dmark 2001 score of between 4800 to 5600 even thoth the grahics card has only 32mb it seem to run more like a dream of 128mb i know you can get faster machines now but just to point out that this came out in 2004 you can see how powerfall this beast of a machice is and also the fact it it qute upgradable it used a socket 478 with a fsb of 800 {desktop ??} add more memary and you... ...After getting my DVD player the next step was a Dolby Digital amp, but as I shopped around I found they were around £400 and that didn't include speakers. So I opened up the Littlewoods catalogue and found the 'Sony HT-BE1 Home Theater System' for £299.99 which include speakers, so what the hell I'll give it a try! When the system arrived I wasn't that sure the speakers are really tiny, but after I pluged it up to my DVD player with the Digital Coaxial surplied my breath was taken away. The small satellite speakers are pure little power blasters, there is no crackle from the speakers the sound quality is superb they pick up the slightest sound from the DVD's. The HT-BE1 has a subwoofer built into the amp unit, it produces a rumble that will make the floor shake when watching films like 'Pearl Harbor'. Surfice to say this little unit... Read review

...charlton have not had that bad a start to this years premier campaign,and will be hoping to stay up longer than their last visit,lasting just one season before going back down again.last season,charlton took the division one by storm,winning it comfatably,but not by as much as sunderland did the year before! i am going to back charlton to stay up this season. the opening day thrashing of fellow promotees manchester city four nil must have raised the charltons favourites hopes,and they enjoyed a run of one game at the top of the premiership.they lay in 15ht now,but i think they will finish about 11th.... ...I have always wanted a surround sound system and as a special treat I decided to buy the Samsung HT-XQ 100 for £200 from my brother after he opted to upgrade to a super flash top of the range plasma television that came with a suitably high priced set of kit. I cannot comment on the instruction manuals as they didn't come with the speakers thanks to my absent minded sibling. What I can vouch for is the ease with which the speakers are hooked up and ready to pound the eardrums. The system is made up of 6 speaker. 2 are tall as you can see from the product picture and these are placed behind your regular sititng position, with the two smaller speakers sitting in the corners in front of your seating position. The wide speaker sits in front of the television and I have the sub-woofer positioned just above on top of my DVD player... Read review

Until this point we didn't have a DVD player and we were absolutely thrilled to bits with our prize when it arrived and from that day forward we began to purchase DVD's in place of videos. Some of you may know that earlier this year, in June, we returned home from holiday to find that our house had been burgled and that amongst lots of other valuable and precious items the Panasonic SC-HT70 had been stolen.
