...When I write a car review, I generally try to give as balanced an opinion as possible in regard to a cars? relative merits or failings. The problem I faced when sitting down to write this review of the new model Lexus LS430, from Japanese manufacturers Toyota, was to find ANYTHING bad, or even slightly negative, to say about it. I have a friend in the limousine business, which explains how I found myself invited along for the morning as he put one of these beauties through its paces on an extended test drive. To be driven in a car of this refinement and luxury is a rare experience, to be savoured and relived for months afterwards. This car is an upgraded version of the ?old? Lexus LS400.   SUPERB DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WITH THE KODAK LS443

Advantages: High resolution, 3x optical zoom, massive range of features
Disadvantages: Unfortunately we live in rip-off Britain

The Sound Blaster Audigy LS

Advantages: Brilliant clarity. Excellent with all types of music, especially rock. Simple set up & Instructions.
Disadvantages: None at all.

You'll never find an unhappy LS owner, will you ?

Advantages: Rarer and better than European Equivalents
Disadvantages: Expensive to run, Brake disks warp every 6000 miles !!!

...My LS430 is a 2002 model with the chauffeurs premium pack and is in "Platinum Ice" or silver to anyone else I am a perfectionist, so if you've only ever heared great things about Lexus and the LS430 that may be about to change, ever so slightly I have just paid my local Lexus franchise the ridiculous sum of £650 ( approx USD $1,000) to have my oh so unreliable brakes fixed, so although I have been overjoyed with the car as a whole I'm writing this review at my most vulnerable moment ever as a Lexus owner, in fact, the last time I felt this way about a lexus, my old IS200 ( brakes issues again ), I promptly got rid of it & swore I'd never buy one again ! Good Budget Price Quality Sound.

Scouring through the pages of the Argos book I decided to settle for the Logitech LS11 speakers at a budget price of £17.59. Although I had never actually read a review for these particular speakers, any reviews I had read on Logitech Speakers seemed to be good for performance and installation. Sony KV28LS60

Advantages: Excellant picture quality at an affordable price
Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of space compared to LCD or Plasma

...There are two versions of Sony's KV28LS range a 35 and 60. The only difference as far as I am aware is that the LS60 has a scanning rate of 100HZ, rather than the 50HZ of the 35. I purchased the LS60 approximately 18months which at the time cost just over £600, no doubt it has fallen in price since then. I opted for the LS60 because of the enhanced scanning rate and the difference in price was negligible. This is actually the second LS60 I have owned, when the first arrived two of the scart sockets did not work. However, within a week Comet had delivered a new TV which (touch wood) I have had no problems with. Additional point here, order from Comet's website rather than store for a significant discount, you retain the benefit of being able to go into a store if you have any problems but get a significant discount when ordering...
