...I have been using this Eau de Toilette for about five years now. My wife really likes it and no matter what other after shaves I buy I always go back to Hugo Boss Bottled. I feel that it's not to strong and it does smell like proper men's after shave. Many of the new men's fragrances can smell more and more like perfume. It has a crisp sweet smell and I think it's quite refreshing. I know this description is really bad so this is how the Hugo Boss website describes it: "Boss No. 6 Cologne by Hugo Boss, Launched by the design house of boss in 1999. Its fragrant nature explores essences of fern, bergamot and pineapple. Blended with notes of lavender,â juniper and geranium, boss # 6 is a casual type of fragrance." Feeling Fruity with Hugo Boss (Deep Red)

Advantages: Long lasting smell, not too overpowering
Disadvantages: Becoming increasingly popular, therefore you wont be the only one wearing it!

...I have to admit I am a very big fan of Hugo Boss perfumes in general, and this one is no different - I absolutely love it. ~~Packaging~~ The packaging is a simple yet distinct design which can automatically be attached and associated with the Hugo Boss range. This one comes in a lovely dark red frosted glass with a silver lid. The lid is easily pulled off to find the usual ?squirt? button found on most perfumes. The wording on the bottle is simple and minimalist in a silver writing. Whilst the bottle isn?t clear, when held up to light you can clearly see how much perfume is left, without it coming as a complete shock when it is no longer coming out the bottle! The bottle, like most perfumes, comes with outer packaging. In this case the outer packaging is a small cardboard box again following the general colour theme...

Hugo Boss, Always in motion

...With so many fragrances out there some of the more unusual shaped bottles can lose ground to other more normal looking bottles of fragrances. One such fragrance that has bucked that trend is Boss in Motion by Hugo Boss It was released in 2002. The only others that look similar that I can think of are from the likes of DKNY and Bvlgari. As you can see from the bottle it is a round design whereas most bottles are upright It also has a rather different spray design than the normal eau de toilette bottles. This design means that it can take a few seconds longer to get enough spray out. I prefer the normal style of bottle but this doesnt really affect the outcome. The smell is really quite lovely and is a spicy woody fragrance which also has a sweet smell. There's hints of Bergamot Oil, Basil Flower Violet Leaves Pink Pepper...

...I've used Hugo boss for the last three years and i would never turn back to another brand, cause its just so damn good. From the first time that i opened the bottle and splashed some on my face i new it was gonna change my life. It just changes your mind set as well, makes you feel like a hunk. The first time i used Hugo boss on a night out it was amazing. Hugo 'smells like the Boss's armpit

...I was recently given a bottle of this aftershave. On first impresseion I thought it was Ok, especially to wear for work etc. ie non offensice and quite light. But after wearing it for about two hours or so I kept noticing the smell and thinking is this whiff coming from me. It just seemed to linger like the proverbial bad smell all day - like the boss's armpit after a day locked in a meeting room with no air conditioning in summer. It is hardly a smell for a young man to wear but for 50 somethings trying to trap after work in the pub - but then again it is a million times better than BO My advice is that there are plenty of fragrances better than this on the market so choose carefully - this is not my cup of tea...

...Well what can I say about Hugo Boss Pure Purple for woman.....except it is absolutely gorgeous, it smells devine and comes in a fancy shaped bottle, purple in colour which gets deeper in colour further down the bottle. It smells great, it has suitable hint of musk however at the same time smells fruity and flowery. (if that makes sense!!!) You only need a few sprays of this and the fragrance lasts all day. Myself I would prefer to wear it as a nigh perfume when you are going out or to a special occasion. It smells very classy and is irresistible. It is available in different size bottles and varies in prize depending where you are buying it from...it averages at about £35 a bottle. ...HUGO BOSS BOSS We were sitting in church on Sunday and I kept getting a whiff of a really nice smell. You know when you keep on wanting to smell something again and again. I asked Jim what aftershave he had on and he said Insignia. I left it at that until we got in the car and I realized it was my son Ross who was smelling so ( I was going to say lovely but I don’t think he would appreciate that) masculine and really nice . “Where did you get that? “ I said I haven’t smelt that before. It was at the back of all the shaving gear. ...I was given a bottle of Hugo Boss Deep Red as a gift. Not a perfume I would have necessarily bought myself on first sniff, the more I have used this scent, the more that I have grown to love it! An instantly recognisable scent, it is fruity yet also floral and woody. Not comparable to any other perfume that I have tested. It is also a very feminine scent (I find alot of perfumes to be verging on the unisex side so this was good for me) The perfume contains pear, clementine, lily and vanilla. I think it is also a very versatile perfume that can be worn anytime, equally suitable for daytime wear or for a night out on the tiles. The fragrance also lasts quite a while, I would say a good few hours before a fresh spray is required. Also, only a couple of sprays are required per application, so a bottle lasts quite a while.
