...Hugo Boss is one of my favourite fragrances as it has a range of smells for daytime and evening. The first Hugo I received was at the airport on my ways back from Greece. At the time it worked out to roughly £24 for a 50 ml bottle. This one was the originally Hugo Woman in the army style bottle. This present enticed me to ask for the Hugo Deep Red for Christmas 2001. This fragrance is an evening one as it is eau de parfum (stronger) and it lasts for a heck of a long time. I wear it out as it can outstand the smoke and beer smells on my clothes. The bottle is slim at the neck and gradually widens at the base. This is a practical design as it stands up even when I just throw the bottle back on to my dresser it stays upright. ...Well what can I say about Hugo Boss Pure Purple for woman.....except it is absolutely gorgeous, it smells devine and comes in a fancy shaped bottle, purple in colour which gets deeper in colour further down the bottle. It smells great, it has suitable hint of musk however at the same time smells fruity and flowery. (if that makes sense!!!) You only need a few sprays of this and the fragrance lasts all day. Myself I would prefer to wear it as a nigh perfume when you are going out or to a special occasion. It smells very classy and is irresistible. It is available in different size bottles and varies in prize depending where you are buying it from...it averages at about £35 a bottle. ...The Product: Hugo Boss Deep Red is a very feminine, sexy, perfume which could be described as musky but also fruity and as a result is quite a heavy scent with woody undertones. ...and distinctive. This perfume is strictly feminine, that is sensual with a touch of sophistication. The smell of Vanilla Orchid, does overpower the amber, but not by too much and the two smells do blend well together. I would discribe this as a flowery smelling perfume, with a hint of Vanilla essence. I would say it's a sweet smelling perfume, but it is not too sweet, just the right blend of sweetness. I do love the smell of this perfume and i would definatly go out and purchase it again. Whats the difference between Eau De Parfum n Eau De Toilette? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eau De Parfum - This contains around 7-15% perfume concentrate. ...Hugo Deep Red perfume is a divine perfume which sets the wearer out from other perfume wearers. Compared to "Hugo Boss Woman", its fairly unknown. But i like this fact because it makes the wearer distinctive! The perfume is a seductive mix of fruits and spices which is strong but not overpowering or sickly. It smells sexy and whenever I wear it I feel really confident. The scent is quite strong and lasts all day. If I'm feeling down, a whiff of this perfume perks me up and reminds me to be positive. I wear this perfume all the time, but if you only wear perfume on special occasions, wear this one when you are going out. It makes you feel sophisticated and people often comment at the beautiful smell! Because its designer, it is expensive. ...is on of my favourite scents so this is ideal for me. Who is it for? I think this is quite a versatile perfume as it is not too strong for everyday use but does make you feel special and like a million dollars. What man could resist? I’m not sure thus is a teenagers scent due to it being quite strong when it is first applied.. I think you need a bit of life experience to wear this sophisticated little number. The perfume is only available in Eau De Parfum strength. However you can get a coordinating products such as shower gel, body lotion and roll-on deodorant This perfume is not the cheapest one I have. Expect to pay between £20-25 for the perfume and about £15 for the coordinating products. If you are a sexy, sassy, sophisticated women of the world Deep Red by Hugo Boss is for you!... Read review

...i bought hugo deep red a few months ago and fell in love with...... so did my current partner. What attracted me to the perfume was the rich red bottle so i had to smell it - i thought wow! I find that it makes me feel sexy and theres nothing better than a woman feeling good about herself. Ive just split from a 4year realationship (and thats 4 a different op), so i decided a night out was in order and i put this perfume on and i good really good comments about the perfume all night from men and women - even my friends are wearing it now. Its a deep scent and its spicy yet a bit fruity - id say its more for going out but i wear it anytime because i love it. I know everyones different on how long the fragrance lasts and smells on you, but i find i need to have a few squirts again after an hour or two so i manage to go through a bottle... Read review

The front of the bottle carries a discrete square with the distinctive Hugo logo - black writing on a red background - in the top half, and "eau de toilette natural spray vaporisateur" printed on a clear background beneath. The liquid within is clear and colourless. Onto the all-important smell: I love this stuff. It reminds me of hot, balmy nights on honeymoon, strolling along the beach at twilight. It definitely has the sense of outdoors about it - strong and earthy, warm yet fresh. It's the sort of aftershave that I'd imagine a strong, confident man to wear. It's quite traditional, and masculine. This is not a fragrance for trendy young metrosexuals.
