Henry the cleaner . . .

.... . . This review is on the very robust Henry Numatic model HVR 200. You will know it as soon as you see it as it has a smiley face, and comes in four colours, red green blue & yellow, well now they have added another to the range - PINK!!! Technically this one is called HETTY, but it is identical otherwise. The shape is cylindrical, but not laid down, it is upright, like an oil drum, and has a buffer ring surrounding it, which does not mark walls. It is mounted on castors, and so is easy to move about. As for the suction, I can only say it is brilliant, the cable is wound up neatly in it's own drum, all tools are there, the machine itself is light enough to be carried up the stairs, what more could you want in a cleaner? There is of course a down side, but not much of one, for instance it is not easy to vacuum the stairs as...

Little Henry Will Get The Job Done

...I think everyone should have a Numatic HVR 200 'little' Henry in there home. I've had this vacuum cleaner for a few years now and has never let me down. Don't be fooled by its size and smiley face, it's got some serious pulling power. The design of the vacuum cleaner is compact and can be easily stored. It has a power on/off switch and handle for carrying on the top. The body is where the bag is located and all the dust will be sucked up into it with no mess. The bottom has wheels for easy manoeuvrability. The Henry comes in 4 different colours, red, blue, green and yellow. The 'R' in the model number simply states this as being red which is the common colour for Henry. The actual handle is adjustable using 3 tubes which are very easy to use and comfortable. You get a variety of heads with the vacuum cleaner for different surfaces...

Henry is my best friend!

Advantages: An all round good performer, cheap and reliable.
Disadvantages: None - he's like a family member!

...Racing Green variety (which wasn't exactly the true colour - he's more of an emerald green, but I don't want to split hairs!) and Henry arrived and has been here ever since! -Dimensions- This particular model's number is HRV200-22. It weighs 6.6kg (and is not difficult to lug up and down stairs) Dimensions are: 340 x 340 x 370mm but as it's a barrel shape it won't sit on a stair whilst you vacuum around it unless you balance it on the step above and wedge it with your leg. If you have a turn in your stairs, that works well. The cord is long enough (at 10 metres) to start hovering upstairs if you plug into a socket on your landing, work your way downstairs and carry on for most of the house before having to unplug it! Numatic claim the cleaning range is 31.8m and I'd say that's pretty accurate! The hose is 2.4 metres long. It has...
