Hyderabad a City of Enchantment and Jewels

Advantages: exudes a rich heritage culture, yet is modern! (aka Hi-tech city -due to software programmers) best IT recruitment, food, pleasant evenings outdoors, shopping, people!
Disadvantages: getting there..? maybe dusty for some, not the usual touristy place..?

...Hyderabad Deccan is found in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India, it is a city that still exudes charm, which is reminiscent of a bygone era with its rich heritage and culture. Today, it is a mixture of modern influences with memories of the trappings and sophistication of the Nizams (Royalty) that ruled that part of India. It is also the city I originate from and have grown extremely fond of over the last few years as I discover more and more about its history and culture.   Hyderagood, Hyderabad, but Not Hydera-indifferent

Advantages: Big, friendly, exotic, friendly, cheap, friendly.
Disadvantages: Pollution and sense distortingly weird traffic

Advantages: charming, unique, cultural, tradital and modern
Disadvantages: traffic?, not touristy

It has a wealth of old palaces and beautiful architecture, though sadly many of the palaces are in ruins. More recently, it has become known as the hi-tech city of India due to its fast developing software and web developers. Microsoft just opened its first office in India there, investing $50 million . I try to find out the 'right' areas to stay in and then go and search the internet for something suitable. Advantages: dazzles, glitters, plethora of fine intricate ornaments, jewellery at bargain prices, its a bazaar, women love the place .....

...Hyderabad, now part of India was initially a separate state when Pakistan was made. It did not actually belong to India or Pakistan. However, the city of Hyderabad is now a part of India. Hyderabad Dhakan is well known for its accent, the Char Minar and its food. Hyderabadi cuisine is loved throughout the Asian subcontinent. Food such as 'Kache gosh biriyani' (biriyani made of mutton that has been marinated in special spices before being cooked in the rice), 'Baghare baigan' (a slightly sour but hot curry made using aubergines), 'Pasanda' (mutton cooked in a special mild curry)and 'Khalaakhun' (a special sweet made using milk) originate from Hyderabad and each has its own special taste. Sparkling gem of Deccan.

Advantages: A big city with modernity and heritages.
Disadvantages: Virtually none

...In the year2001,myself and my wife were on a tour of Deccan And had included Hyderabad as a prime destination. We had decided so because Hyderabad had elevated itself to a modern city with Information Technology facilities and had developed into a sprawling metropolis.Moreover,it is endowed with heritage sites from the pre-British days. We had visited the following places which provided a nice overview of modern and old Hyderabad:- RAMOJI FILM CITY A sprawling campus with nicely laid lawns and natural hillocks has been developed into a filmshooting locale.Artificial statues--replica of world famous dancing figures of Khajuraho,rivulets,buildings, roads,horror chambers i.e., anything and everything required for shooting a film can be found here.Personal efforts of a premier film producer and TV channel owner has brought about this...
