...I?ve been the owner of a coupe for 8 months now; long enough to have driven it in dry, wet, very wet, snowy and blizzard conditions and it?s been pleasing in all of them but was superb in the worst of them. It seems to glue itself to the road in snow and is the only coupe I have ever had that was actually fun to drive in a blizzard. As standard the Coupe 2.0 comes with electric windows, tilt and slide sunroof, air conditioning, ABS, traction control, central locking, height adjustable drivers seat with lumbar support . It also has a decent CD player/radio Everything is well laid out inside, although I m personally not keen on the bright orange displays and have turned the brightness down to the minimum, everything is clear and easy to see. Hyundai Siii coupe - new looks, same reliability

Advantages: Reliable (5 year transferable warranty), looks beautiful and sleek.
Disadvantages: 2.0 is slightly lacking in power.

... Looks I had the facelift Coupe from new (see my other review) and in 5 years of ownership only replaced light bulbs tyres and the battery. This gave me confidence that Hyundai reliability was exceptional. The Siii does boast the same subframe and engine as the S2, but I read, quoted somewhere, that every panel is redesigned. This said, you do have to be quite eagle-eyed to see the difference at the back, although it is there. The front design, however, is what initially attracted me. I was never upset at the S2 design, but (aside from the shark gills), it never really gave you a head turn. The Siii does that. The alloys are different enough to make people comment. They are slightly awkward to clean, thanks to their "sharp" design, but once you have cleaned then, you realise why. They are actually nice alloys...

New Hyundai Coupe 2.0SE (2003)

Advantages: Fantastic head-turning looks, Superb handling, Price!
Disadvantages: 1.6 Model feels underpowered, 2.7V6 gives poor economy.

...In my opinion, I am well placed to comment on the ravishing 2.0SE version of the Hyundai Coupe as I have JUST acquired my very own! I undertook lengthy Test Drives of several Cars before I narrowed my choice down to the Hyundai Coupe and the Toyota Celica. Both cars are very good to look at but I honestly believe the Hyundai just edges it. The Celica is probably more suited to 'Boy Racers' or Women. The new Hyundai has been beefed up and now looks far more masculine and aggressive. In Europe it is known as the Tiburon which means Shark and the gills on the side of the Car add to this suggestive title. It looks absolutely fantastic and is a vast improvement on the previous Model (Sadly, the Model shown at the top of the Page by Ciao is the OLD Model! Hyundai Coupe 2.7 V6 Auto

Advantages: Good Looking, Sporty To Drive, Well Presented
Disadvantages: High Petrol Consumption and High Road Tax

...I have a 54reg coupe v6 2.7. It is the most amazing car I have ever owned. It looks wonderful on the road and drives like a dream.The car also has auto gear box, with sports mode so yes it is quite heavy on petrol and the road tax is fairly high. The interior is a nice mix of leather and chrome (not brash and cheap) just luxurious. The road holding is superb and it is amazing to drive. when I first bought it I did have to make do with a lot of negative comments like why did you buy that? I thought you were getting a proper car etc etc. Buts that all gone now. I actually sold my car 10 months ago for family reasons but after having a fiesta for this time I saw the car back for sale as the new owners couldn't afford to keep it on the road, and I bought it back.That's how much I like it. COUPE CRAZYNESS

Advantages: Great looking and good drive
Disadvantages: no alarm and loses value quickly

...a younger driver or just want to save a bit more money with a lovely looking great quality sturdy car. The security seems to be ok i havent had " touch wood" anybody break into my car or try to steal it but it has an immobiliser to make things a bit more difficult for the thieves! The car doesnt have an alarm which is a major disadvantage in my eyes because most cars nowadays have alarms that come as standard. The hyundai coupe has some really sexy featues such as grills on the side, bucket seats and a chunky exhaust. Another thing that i would say is that the hyundai coupe is a definate value for money and the hyundai name isnt neciserrily the biggest but you may be surprised. All in all i would definetly reccommend this car and i hope you decide to go for one after this as i love my car!...

My Hyundai Coupe FX 1.6

Advantages: Looks, Sportyness, Handling, Acceleration

...Before I start, I just want to make it clear that this is MY opinion, and opinions will always vary. This car is a head-turner... its rebellious curves don't appeal to everyone, but it is a car that stands out. I used to believe that Hyundai made under-Par cars... well, maybe that is a thing of the past, as I am trully amazed by this car, and believe I have made a good Buy. The Attention to detail in making this model was really good, and I believe Hyundai spared no expense to make theirs a very well equiped and afordable sports coupe. ...I'm not too sure if this is the exact same model as mine or not, but it was certainly the closest. I bought my 2001 Hyundai coupé 2.0 SE about 6 months ago and am still chuffed with it. ? General Hyundai Info ? Hyundai has always been known as a value for money manufacturer, however the new coupé seems to break that tradition with the 1.6 priced at £15000 and the 2.7 V6 beast at £19500!! You can get a good deal though on a 2nd hand coupé, I picked mine up for £8500 with 33,000 on the clock I'd say it's an ideal time to buy one. Unfortunately Hyundai is not the most desirable of badges but the way I feel is there's a hell of allot more to a car then the logo on the front and back. Hyundai is the first (and as far as I know the only) car manufacturer to provide 5 years warranty on their cars, which I think was started in the middle...

Surprise!!! Hyundai made a beautiful car...

Advantages: sleek/stylish/ sexy design, reliability, built quality, 5 year warranty
Disadvantages: the Hyundai badge (yeah still...)

...How about a Hyundai for a sports car?.. Being an Alfista for so many years, the idea was like a joke to me... I remember seeing the previous incarnations of the Coupe and thinking it looked good but some parts were to flashy or too overdone for my taste, like the shark grills... than I saw the 2007 version of Tuscani and i realized if it had an Alfa Romeo badge on it, i wouldn't be really surprised. It looked so good and stylish and sleek. I had to decide between Hyundai Coupe and Alfa Romeo GT, and against all odds i went for Hyundai. Alfa GT is more like a businessman's coupe rather than sports coupe and the interior looked almost the same as my previous car, Alfa 147. After a year of driving the car I had no problems at all. I even had a long journey with it last summer, never let me down. With Hyundai Coupe or Tuscani...
