In other words, it had a big clear picture but also took up enough deskspace to build a small city. After a couple of years, I sold the 22" Iiayma to online Quake 3 buddies who are delighted with it, and took the plunge with the Hyundai Imagequest 19" L90D+. Why this model? Another online gamer friend had been recommending the L90D+ after having had some very interesting and educational experiences with other models. Advantages: Price, looks and also performance above its price!
Disadvantages: No horizontal adjustment on the stand, built-in speakers aren't the best.

It was a relatively pain-free experience because I knew a lot about the parts involved, with the exception of a flat-screen monitor! Hyundai L90D+

Advantages: Sharp Image, Looks Great, 8ms Response

...Well only thing I can say is that this is a fantastic screen. The L90D+ first caught my eye when I saw it on Gladiator Computers featured products. Reading the Specification of it made me want it more. The main features that grabbed my interest was its lightning quick response time. At 8ms is it one of the quickest refreshing LCD screens on the market as some screens are between 50ms and 25ms, and only recently screens with 16ms to 12ms have become easily available. Also, many LCD screens only have a contrast ratio of 500 and brightness level of 250 but the L90D+ has a contrast ration of 700 and brightness level of 300 giving an amazing crisp clear image. It also uses 16.7 million colours where most only use 16.2 million colours. Another big plus for me is that as well as having a 15-pin D-sub VGA connector it has a DVI...

...Peak Imaging are on of many postal photo developing companies, but are head and shoulders above most. They were established in 1979 and are based in Sheffield. Despite competition they are regarded as one of the top pro-am photo labs and are regularly recommended in print, on newsgroups and now on Ciao ! As a postal service Peak provide you with a small cardboard box (about the size of 2 stacked cigarette cartons (20's) - not that I smoke !), and an order form. You fold up the box and pop your films and the order form into the box - seal the ends with tape and place the postage paid box into the mail.
