My 18 month contract with T-Mobile is coming up for renewal next week, however having had problems gaining reception in my area I'd opted to look elsewhere for a new contract. A few weeks back my problems were solved when I was shopping around to try and find the best mobile contract, and discovered that O2 would be stocking the Apple iPhone as of November the 9th. Not only was I looking for a new mobile contract, but also a replacement MP3 player so the Apple iPhone seemed ideal. I made plans to purchase the iPhone and on the evening of release made my way down to the nearest O2 store upon finishing work, bagging myself my very own iPhone at a price of £269. Nokia Prism 7500: Nothing Speical

Advantages: Attractive, Easy to use, Durable.
Disadvantages: Bad Battery, Nothing Special, Slow Internet, Small Memory.

The iPhone Masterpiece

Advantages: Visual beauty, ipod perfection, photo demon, movies screen, internet anywhere! PERFECT!

Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music

...I owned the I-phone 3G for a month before I sold it on as I couldn't get along with it. My cousin got it on contract from O and even he couldn't handle it, so he sold it to me. However, as we all know to use the 3G I-phone you need a special I-phone sim card from O2.Instead of me buying the O2 contract sim, I just took the shortcut of unlocking the I-phone 3G, which surprisingly only cost me £10. Therefore, I could use any simcard in the I-phone 3G. I however used my O2 Simplicity contract simcard, which was cheaper than getting an I-phone contract simcard. The I-phone 3G is only available on O2 and has only just started to be sold as pay as you go, suggesting that you don't have to own up to a contract to own one.
