Disadvantages: Can sometimes be predictable, starting jokes have been heard before

...Would I Lie to You? in my opinion is one of the funniest BBC comedy panel shows that I've seen in a while; where every week you find out random things you may not know about the celebrities on the show. The statements the contestants are given to tell the other team are always outrageous, and it's fun to guess along at home to see whether you're right. Sometimes the lies can be downright stupid, and you can tell that the person can't possibly think up a story which can be disappointing as you can tell from the outset that it's a lie and takes the fun out of the guessing slightly; but the show makes up for it when there is an embarrassing truth which is equally as mad as the lies, and the other team is completely bemused by the fact that this actually happened. I have to praise Lee Mack and David Mitchell as the team captains...

Advantages: Full Internet, Massive storage, Great design, Superb battery life.
Disadvantages: The Megapixel of the camera is put to shame by other phones available.

My 18 month contract with T-Mobile is coming up for renewal next week, however having had problems gaining reception in my area I'd opted to look elsewhere for a new contract. A few weeks back my problems were solved when I was shopping around to try and find the best mobile contract, and discovered that O2 would be stocking the Apple iPhone as of November the 9th. Not only was I looking for a new mobile contract, but also a replacement MP3 player so the Apple iPhone seemed ideal. I made plans to purchase the iPhone and on the evening of release made my way down to the nearest O2 store upon finishing work, bagging myself my very own iPhone at a price of £269. Although the price did seem a little steep, especially considering that I would be paying out a further £35 a month for the contract...

iPhone I like

Advantages: Modern technology, amount of software and number of devices.
Disadvantages: No protective case.

...for contacts, hold, keypad and add call. The last allows the facility of "conference calling". For e-mail you require wi-fi connection but I have not yet tried this out. A range of networks is listed ,google,AOL,Y!Mail and mac Next is safari the internet browser. I have used this to browse wikipedia,BBC and our own CIAO. It is slow at first but quite well organised once you get the hang of it. For more advanced browsing such as videos and media stuff you will need wi-fi. Last is the Ipod. This shows the songs you have downloaded in different forms, by playlist,artist,album or all by song. You can thumb through the albums, Press an icon to get the album or song and then press again to play the song. Also you can pause the play button if needed. When you buy the phone first check that you have a friend who can register it for you...

iPhone 3G. What a phone!!!!!!

Advantages: Stylish, fast, too many applications and uses to name!!
Disadvantages: poor battery life on some applications, camera isnt great, no video.

...the camera isnt as good as most phones these days, and literally at the touch of the screen I can go to iTunes, YouTube, BBC iPlayer, eBay, Facebook or any of hundreds of other sites. I have apps giving me all the daily news I need, financial apps telling me whats happening in the stockmarket, a google mobile app with voice recognition etc etc. I can even programme by Sky TV when I'm not at home. I really cannot recommend this phone highly enough. All the major problems that initially pushed some people towards a Blackberry have now been sorted and I cant wait now to get my upgrade to the new 3Gs!!...

I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland. Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The box included a small quick start guide, a headset and the various connectors. Set up with iTune is a breeze even for a newbie. The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. I own a HTC Touch aswell and found it much easier to upgrade and customise than the iPhone. Advantages: Touchscreen, easy to use

...Previously had a Samsung, loved it's simplicity and the fact it was flawless. Everything worked, easy to use yet still up to date with technology However, I recently lost the it and was given an iPhone, this phone is way 'cooler' than any phone I have ever had. Apple are taking technology in mobile phones way further than other brands I feel, ok there are flaws but where there are flaws there are exceptions with other cool gadgets that have made me completely forget about comparing it to my previous mobiles. For example, Google Maps, easy to use and very sufficient Internet use, amazing screen quality with touch screen buttons that actually work... really well too! The iPhone Masterpiece

Advantages: Visual beauty, ipod perfection, photo demon, movies screen, internet anywhere! PERFECT!
Disadvantages: cost and network locking (easily overcome) and ringtones (overcome aswell)

...This is the pinacle of phone, music player, video player technology. I can not believe how much stuff is wrapped into this beautiful device. okay first, there is the look. Now i doubt you will be able to find anyone who doesnt think this phone is gorgeous. It has an overall of 4 buttons and a switch. 1 for the home screen, 2 for sound, 1 for on and off and the switch to mute sound. The rest is controlled by your fingers on the 3.5" touch screen. It is beautiful peice of engineering technology. The touch screen is "clever" it know when you touch once, it knows when you pulling across the screen, it knows when your pinching. This is due to a sensitive electrical sheet underneath the glass, yes glass, that is connected to the apple mac os x system. It is stunning. The best iPod / Phone!

Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music
Disadvantages: needs a couple of firmware updates to become the perfect phone

...of friendly rivalry between the teams , and unlike other panel shows, the teams do seem to genuinely want to win . Would I Lie To You is shown on Mondays on BBC1 at 10.35. I feel it's appropriate for the show to be on this late as there is the occasional slipped in curse word, and some of the humour is perhaps not child friendly . However, the show is not out and out offensive and is a good watch, and I very much recommend it! Four stars - one taken off for the occasional flat hosting by Rob Brydon ....
