...like comparing an Audi A4 with a horse and cart; its a revolution and then some. It is versatile and powerful, yet highly intuitive and exceptionally easy to use. The price tag is high, but the value for money is excellent. Software and hardware alike are highly polished, and attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. Battery life is somewhat dissapointing, but its the only major weakness I have found. The 3GS is a product that not only lives up to, but actually beats the hype....

BT Vision - wonderful!!

With the Digital changeover we're all going to have to have Digital TV of some sort so BT Vision seemed the perfect product for me since I already have my telephone and internet with BT. BT Vision is essentially a freeview box with an 80GB hard drive and a recording feature which allows you to watch one programme and record another or record two programmes at the same time. You can also pause live TV, record at the touch of a button and record a whole series simply by selecting the programme from the programme guide and then pressing record twice. BT Vision - Cheap, Reliable and Extremely Entertaining.

Advantages: Hours and hours of entertainment (recorded telly and packages), cheaper than other providers
Disadvantages: Packages could be a bit more developed (except film) but then it would cost more.

...The BT Vision package was the only purchase I've ever made after being asked if I was interested in 'some information' on a product (usually code for 'at least 20 minutes of naff scripted sales pitch') and I'm so glad I did. Not only is the service a hell of a lot cheaper than it's competitors, but it's basic package alone offers more hours of entertainment than any other. I've been recommending this to family members and friends who are all on less reliable and more expensive packages with other companies. The Package With BT Vision you can either opt for one of the packages (Bronze, Silver or Gold) or you can 'build' your own package by picking the types of chanel that you would like. I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland. Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The box included a small quick start guide, a headset and the various connectors. Set up with iTune is a breeze even for a newbie. The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. I own a HTC Touch aswell and found it much easier to upgrade and customise than the iPhone.
