...Whilst in Tescos this week I was in the book section when I spotted this book, my son already has Dora`s Chicks which he really likes so I knew this book would go down a treat and for £2.49 I thought it was good value. I don`t want to have a bath! This is a hardback book with paper pages, on the cover is a picture of mummy tiger and her baby who is clinging onto a branch as he does not want to get wet. Little Tiger loves to play games and somehow even though he does not mean it he lands up getting dirty, so Mummy Tiger tells him it is time for him to have a bath only Little Tiger does not want a bath. I Don't Want You Either

Advantages: I really could not find any....the end perhaps
Disadvantages: Poor lyrical content, arrogance without the talent to back it up

'My Baby's Lost' sees him struggling with his ethos though, as he tones it down slightly, but his whining overpowers the whole song, and then he goes back to his tried and tested formula as he sings, 'I f***ed your friend instead of you'.....nice guy, and then he wonders why women leave him, and then continues to whine with the dreadful 'I Want You So Bad'. Advantages: Moving powerful story, very well performed
Disadvantages: Inaccuracies

...with this, because I really don't know, but I would say if intended to be from the viewpoint of a victim of domestic violence, I'd imagine this was close enough to what she would have seen, even if it isn't the full picture. Of course other people's views are bound to be different, and you could argue this was all for emotive effect, so it is worth staying open-minded about the truth. Fishburne created some very distinctive mannerisms and this made his character more familiar and perhaps daunting. I did read somewhere that he wanted to humanise Ike, and although I'd still regard Ike's behaviour as unforgiveable, I would agree that in this film he wasn't just a monster - just there was little or no good in him. Angela Bassett takes her role very seriously as Anna Mae/Tina Turner, and there is more to her acting than just trying to imitate...

I Just Don't GET It!

There were tons of people around including some policemen but would I ask them for help? Oh no. I didn?t want to look stupid. Review of 10 Things I Don't Understand

Don't let this go to waste (GOD, how cheesy am I)

Advantages: Some amazingly good songs!!
Disadvantages: "From Myself Baby" - not too keen

...reviews for the tracks o this album, and I kept coming across a track called 'Luxury' which kept getting praised. When I heard it I wasn't that keen, because it sounds very 'Blink 182-esque' , but it has grown on me, and the swing beat carries it through. ---7/10--- 3 - DON'T LET IT GO TO WASTE Third single and title track. This track shows a more mellow Matt Willis (try sayin that after a few drinks!). It starts of with soft vocals and a piano, and is everything you would expect of a rock power ballad, as it bursts into a guitar driven BEAST of a song. It is a fantastic song with a brilliant emotive vocal performance from Mr Matt. ---9/10--- 4 - UP ALL NIGHT Now, now, now... what can I say about this!! If I ever wanted credit for writing a great pop song, I only wish it could be this one I got it for. This is my ultimate favourite song...
