...After watching multiple episodes of Britain's got talent, and quite enjoying the remarks made by Piers Morgan I decided to pick up one of his books. My brother had a copy 'Don't you know who I am?' so this was the obvious choice. The book consists of a number of diary entries around the time after his Mirror newspaper sacking, and evolves around his search for a new job, celebrity status and also I had no real idea of who Piers Morgan was except knowing that he was the ex editor of the Mirror owing to a sacking. In this book Piers lifts the lid on his meeting with numerous celebrities ranging from top bench cabinet ministers to the likes of Gordon Ramsay and Sharon Osborne, all of which are thoroughly eventful. My favourite has to be his meeting with Sharon where he waits for her PR to go to the loo before asking her opinion...

What you don't know - won't hurt you!

...What You Don't Know is Frontier is Asva's second album and was released this year. Asva is the brainchild of former Burning Witch member Stuart Dalhqvist and uses up musicians from various bands including Mr.Bungle, another band which I didn't like that much. This is pretentious rubbish going nowhere with an album which basically consists of a doom metal intro and it fails to explode, in fact it's really disappointing. There's a bit of electronic experimental work in there too and whilst it tries to sound scary like the beginning of a horror film, it's like walking in the graveyard when it's busy in the day - really not scary at all. In some ways the electronic elements remind me of Mike Patton's most recent work, which I too see as a load of utter rubbish. My best advice to you on this one is not to buy it as I doubt you'll get...

We meet Kate's two friends, and see their correspondence to each other, you've probably seen or had the e-mails yourself. the ones where you LOL or can be seen ROFLOL!! Oh yes, forgot to mention - 3)Kate has a fantasy E-mail lover, the dashing Jack Ablehammer, a client of Kate's in New York. You could almost fall for Jack yourself, hes dashing, lovable and has such a way with words you'll be swooning. You'll laugh, sympathise and even cry reading this book. I couldn't put it down. I could really identify with Kate and thats what so brilliant about the author, Allison Pearson. She first introduced the Kate Reddy column in the Daily Telegraph. I can't wait to see if she writes another book, because I simply don't know how she does it!!!...

I Don't Understand Me

I can just about manage an hour in the sun (with factor 30 or higher) and by the end of my hols I am a healthy orangy colour. I also don't understand why some parents allow their children to burn, we all by now know how to be sensible in the sun and what the consequences can be for over exposure. It horrifies me to see little 'uns red and blistered. Tampons - I don't understand how to get them in properly. I mean, I've had 2 kids and there is obviously room 'up there' as I've managed to get the babies out and the baby making equipment in (I think that's quite a delicate tactful way or referring to a willie), but I have a problem with tampons. ...Motown feel about it, but be under no illusion that it is a terrible song. Until now, the songs were not enjoyable, and quite annoying, but '4 The Rest Of Your Life' sees Eamon spurt out so much cheese he must be holding a grater. He claims he is a 'ho-wop' artist, and I hope that he is the last, because as a fan of old school hip hop, he is hardly bringing people round to this genre. 'All Over Love' just drags out the inevitable end, and is nothing more than a filler track with no redeeming features. 'Controversy' seems a bit of a pointless track by now, as Eamon's agenda is obvious for everyone to see. Again, the production on this track is appalling, and the lyrics can barely be heard over the poor mix of music. 'Lo Rida' features N.O.R.E. who I know nothing about, and don't really intend to try to find anything out about them...
