...Now That's What I Call Music Vol.69 Complication Album This is the 69th United Kingdom version of the Now That's What I Call Music volumes as the title would suggest. I had been waiting for this album to come out for a while as I usually buy the Now albums for something to listen to in the car, this album came out on the 17th March 2008, all of the music on these albums is from the recent official chart listings. Now That's What I Call Music albums come out every 6months and have the Number 1 charts singles over that time as the contents, these albums are usually just known as Now 69 etc as it's easier and not as long as the full title! NOW That's What I Call........Dissapointing.

Advantages: A few good tracks.
Disadvantages: Too many bad tracks, poorly put together

...Now That's What I call The 80's was one of the cd's I found in my Christmas stocking this year, all my family knows I love cheesy 80's music so I wasn't surprised by this choice. Initially it seemed like a really good cd, at least on first appearances, part of the Now series and featuring one of my favourite musical decades you would think it could do no wrong, sadly there are too many flaws making this cd a major let down. Consisting of 3 discs and 60 tracks, with a wide range of the decade's finest (and admittedly not so fine) artists, this should have been possibly the greatest 80's compilation of all time. Now That's What I Call Pretty Good

Advantages: Great 80s Tunes
Disadvantages: Kate Bush TWICE

...As most of you will know from reading my previous reviews, one of my great passions is music from then 80's which brings me on to Now That's What I Call The 80's. Ordinarily I don't tend to buy a large quantity of compilation albums because you tend to find that the same tracks appear on a small selection of albums so normally buying one or two of the same genre give you the majority of tracks anyway. However, generally that does not apply with this triple album. A further reason for investing in this selection is that those of a certain age will remember the days before the Now That's What I Call albums first burst on the scene in the early 1980's when we used to crowd round the radio on a Sunday night and tape our favourite tracks off the Radio 1 chart show. Now that`s what I call garbage!

Advantages: The ten or so good tracks
Disadvantages: The fourty- odd bad ones

.... Available in most music stores for around ten pounds this album is in my opinion not good value for money and unless you are a total 80`s freak better left alone altogether. In this day and age with digital downloads I think this type of albums days are numbered anyway. We can now just download the tracks we like and leave the rest to rot. The Now Thats What I Call Music!... collection is a collection of CD albums released seasonally filled with all the hits from the past few months. Although people do not tend to get as excited about these because of downloads, YouTube and what have you, they are still something to have in the collection and can be treasured for years to come! Now: 71 was released towards the end of 2008, just in time for people to outstock the shops, as it is an ideal Christmas present! The cover is very attractive! Why 'How I Live Now' By Meg Rosoff is outstanding

Advantages: Insperational and well writen
Disadvantages: Not enough information and swearing

...How I Live Now is an excellent book for older readers containing a few examples of swearing. Meg Rosoff uses a wide range of vocabulary and strong phrases that capture the imagination. The main charicter is strong minded but the begining can be slightly confusing due to the tense and form of which the book is writen. The war (that in some parts is quite intense) is never explaned properly and you never find out who the enemy is and it would have made it better to know these details, but this is probably because the book is writen from the main character, Daisy's point of view and she doesn't know what is happening and it is never explaned to her. The book is about love and romance, freedom and magic that is turned into horror and near death expirences, at the end of the book you don't know whether to be happy or sad, but will want to...

I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry-Adam Sandler & Kevin James

Advantages: Incredibly funny throughout most of it.Unpredictable and touching at times.
Disadvantages: Sometimes the gags are a bit cheesy and basic.

This comedy was actually a really good buy if like me you only spent a quid on it in your local supermarket bargain bin.
