...First thing is first. With any Apple product you know it will be very expensive, very cool and pretty simple to use. I have been an Apple fan for a while and have have an iPod mini (4gb), iPod video (30gb) and now my iPod touch (as well as a Mac mini =] ). If you are wanting an MP3 player that will just play your music then you may be put off the iPod touch as for the same price you can have a considerably bigger music player. However the Album Art scrolling feature- known as Cover Flow make it more interesting, and there is nothing more fun than scrolling through your albums with your fingers! However this is a lot more than an MP3 player. Although it will hold 2000 songs or tonnes of videos it also has a lot more features built in. I bought my first iPod 3 years ago, the iPod 4 GB mini, I was quite pleased at first but after a while the battery stopped working, but it remains to be seen whether or not this is the case with the Touch. The actual dimensions are as follows: H110 x W62 x D8.5mm ...and in inches: H4.3 x 2.4 x 0.3inches I have absolutely no problem keeping this safe in my pockets but I struggle to get it into my skinny jeans so I wouldn't recommend it; it would most likely pop out of the pocket due to the room restriction in such garments. On the Apple website, it cost £199.00 with free packaging, delivery and an optional engraving, so I thought the price was very reasonable, especially for a very complex gadget like iPod Touch. I never had an iPod before so I was excited to receive my iPod in the post. The first thing I had to do was to plug the iPod onto my laptop, so it would start charging. For those who doesn't have iTunes on their computer, you will need to download the program however I can remember a pop-up appearing to tell me to install iTunes. Advantages: Great touchscreen and amazing wifi and internet browsing

...I own this product and so can talk with experience behind me. I believe that if you can't afford and iPhone, you should buy an iPod Touch 32gb, because it has many of the same features.
