Advantages: Quick, Very usable, Lots of Apps, Multi-use Disadvantages: Battery life, non-removable battery, cost
...I?ve finally taken the plunge and bought myself an Apple iPhone after using a Samsung Omnia i900 for around a year. I went straight for the 32GB 3GS but it?s also available with 16GB of space if you don?t think you?d need more than that.
DESIGN AND BUILD
The phone feels solid with a fair bit of weight to it but not too much as to hinder the usage. The size is of the phone, being a full touch screen phone, is pretty big but fits perfectly in my hand. I believe the screen is made of glass so can break quite easily if you were to drop it onto something so it's best to protect it with some sort of case but overall, the device looks and feels well built.
SETTING UP
First thing that needs doing after taking the phone out of the box, is the charge it as well as put in the SIM. Installing a SIM involves removing the SIM...
Advantages: fantastic amounts of applications that you can take on and off quickly. Disadvantages: poor camera only 3 megapixel
...pulling the laptop out and searching for things. I use my Iphone for everything now andcant believe it took me so long to get one and i nearly did not.
Take a trip to your O2 store and look at one its the only way to fully understand what i have said.
The only other great update from the original one that the 3gs has it the capacity to send mms pictures from the phone. I know you can update the old model to do it from itunes but as reported on watchdog a few weeks back, the update is causng some people to have problems with the pones once they have updated and they are trying to create a new update to solve the problems.
The battery will last up to four days on general calls and texts but you will have to charge aprrox once a day if you use it as your personal assistant like i do at present.
The iphone also does not come with a case...
Advantages: Upgraded sofware and Hardware, better camera Disadvantages: Appearance hasn't changed, Expensive
...of the general elements of the appearance of the new 3GS it is almost a mirror image of the original 3G, the home and power buttons, mute switch and plastic case are indistinguishable from the original. If you were to lay them down side by side you would have a hard time telling them apart, the only real difference being that the new 3GS seems to be a little more reflective, thanks to its new fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating. As you would expect though, the 3GS is not an indication that Apple are getting lazy, all the significant changes can be found internally.
Hardware
The new iPhone is called the ?S? for a reason... Speed. The CPU has been supercharged, which in turn has beefed up the processor from 412MHz to around 600MHz. When you add to this the new graphics chip, called the PowerVR SGX, and double the amount of RAM...
Advantages: fast, fun, easy to use, less use pc, Sat Nav and ipod Disadvantages: lowish battery, poor camera
...When the iPhone first came out i like everyone else sat looking at the adverts and thought thats so cool! but then as people got them i very quickly realized the adverts did not show how long everything took. then the 3g came out and it was an improvement on the internet side of thing but the application still involved a lot of hanging around. but then i this popped up onto my radar before was even announced. and when it was and they had made th iphone faster and gave it a much longer battery life i thought this is the time that i should bounce onto the band wagon. What a difference it has made. when i woke up in the morning and wanted to check train times it meant booting up a computer that took hours to turn on making me late now done in around a minute after waking up. the camera is not what you would want from a phone of 2009 but i...
Advantages: It's advanced technology and huge variety of features. Disadvantages: The very low and quickly decreasing battery life.
...to the signal strength) and the turning off and on times! It, by my judgement felt about 2 times as quick, if not more in some cases!
Secondly there is one of my favourite things that wasn't in the previous iPhone models, voice control. This is where you hold down the home button for a few seconds, and you can then say what you want it to do, and it will 9 out of 10 times, respond correctly! For instance you can say to the iPhone, "Call Joe Bloggs", and it then asks you if you want to call his home, work, mobile number etc. and then call him! Also you could say, "Play songs by Michael Jackson", and it will start playing songs by Michael Jackson! It had me entertained for days.
Another addition which is clever, but I personally don't get much use out of, is the compass function. From what I have heard, there are applications on the App...
Advantages: very easy to use, amazing looking. Disadvantages: price slighlty expensive
...I own one of these and they are absolutely brilliant, it feels great, looks amazing and in my opinion its the best gadget there is. its not only a phone its also a email device, pda, a proper organiser and a good mp4 player. its possible to buy games, utilies and a numereous amount of application which makes life must easier, theres retaurant finder, maps that gives you directions like a sat nav, without the talking, the 2megapixel camera isnt superb but the picture quality is like havin a laptop in your hand, it is crystal clear. the iphone is light and you gets some amazing cases to use with it. there is loads of application from apple itune stores which is cheap, try it out, in my opinion its great....

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: Incredibly easy to use with huge selection of quality dowloadable apps. Almost perfect... Disadvantages: Battery life it at best acceptable
.... Stand-outs for me are the Maps and Safari applications, but Mail, iPod and Voice Memos are great too. However, its the 3rd party applications available from Apples App Store that are the big talking point. The quality of many titles is incredible, and often at ridiculously low prices, and even free in many cases.
With the iPhone offering so much its easier to overlook its key function as a phone. In this respect its better then any other phone I have ever used. Call quality is good, contacts are very easy to find and call, and the phone offers multiple phone books to easily separate work and home contacts. I've heard that the iPhone phone features were not particularly great, but to be honest everything is extremely polished and I can't find anything missing.
The new voice control features are impressive. You simply hold down the home...
Advantages: Sleek design, simplicity, the mass amount of apps you can get for it Disadvantages: Battery life, 3 megapixel camera, no flash, quite expensive
...Now this is one of the best things I have EVER spent my money on.
Starting with the look, it is sleek and simple. One of the things that Apple strives for is the look of these handsets, which I personally love.
The user intreface is also sleek and simple, as it uses icons instead of text - which most mobile handsets use. You can have different 'pages' for your apps, and you can organise your apps in whatever way you want..
The touchscreen is one of the only touchscreens that I have ever liked, and enjoyed using. Previous phones that I have had with touchscreens are too tricky to get the right buttons, and slow in response. The iPhone certainly beats all other touchscreens by far! I enjoy using the touchscreen on this phone.
The camera is a 3 megapixel, which is poor compared to other phones out on the market, but the 3 megapixel...
...Ok well im going to be giving a review on the Apple IPhone, ive had it for about two months now, and feel its about appropriate time to give my views on the product, as ive had enough time to play around and get use to it. The IPhone was given to me as a present, a few months back, I was at first not sure whether I wanted the IPhone, it seemed too expensive and full of applications and tools I really didn't want. I already had an Ipod and a Phone. so my thinking was why would I in principle want to get another one. However, being the kind person I am I accepted the gift and went to the shops with my dad were we purchased the phone.
Now before you buy your phone you must decide whether you want to purchase the 8GB phone of the 16GB phone. What's the difference, well the smaller one only costs £269, whilst opting for the larger one will...

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: Easy to use, clear screen lots of potential Disadvantages: no video camera, no customised ringtones, and no MMS
...idea what the other person is on about unless you look back.
As long as your contract allows it, all you data usage (internet browsing, you tube, email etc) is all included in your monthly bill. (Please check your contract as this is usually subject to fair usage policy of around 500MB per month).
The durability of this phone, in my experience, is fantastic. I have dropped this phone so many times and other than a few scuffs on the edge of the case, it has been fine. I even once dropped it in the bath and it didn't bat an eyelid. The sound was slightly muffled for a few hours untill it dried out, but afterwards, it was perfect.
The bad points for me with the iPhone are:
The first one is that it cannot send Multi Media messages. This is a downside for me personally because I send pictures to other people's mobile phone...
