This one was a minute walk from Euston station, which is so convenient. Also close enough for the famous Bond Street and Oxford Street for some fantastic shopping. This hotel has 380 climate controlled rooms, 8 accessible rooms a bar, which serves snacks 24 hours a day, a restaurant, which serves fantastic food. On arriving at the Ibis, you are welcomed by a quite large lobby, which is clean and very bright and welcoming. ...In January I went to see Justin Timberlake in concert (again) this is my 3rd time. I and my Sister Lizzy (Hello love) didn?t want to travel home again after the exciting show so we decided to stay in a Hotel. We went looking for a Hotel and found the Ibis Hotel. It was fairly close to Piccadilly station which was very convenient for us. We went into the building and it all looked very nice. There was a bar and lots of tables and seating areas, and at the back of the entrance was the reception. We booked a room for 2 with no problems. The room cost £46.00 for the night which we found very good as we were splitting the cost. £46.00 is the standard rate for weekends. For week days it is still only £48.00. ...I'm a big fan of Ibis hotels and stay in them for both business and pleasure. I had, however, read a bad opinion of the London Euston branch, so when I found myself needing to stay in Euston the other night it was with slight trepidation that I booked the Ibis. I was hoping that my several excellent experiences of the Ibis chain would hold out against the one bad experience I'd read about. LOCATION The Ibis London Euston is in Cardington Street, literally at the side of Euston Station. Weary travelers can depart their train and be at their hotel in one minute. ...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made...

Advantages: Beautiful setting in a buzzing part of London
Disadvantages: Not suitable for disabled people - no lift

...The Ashley Hotel is a superb, well-priced B&B hotel in a gorgeous location in central London. It is situated in Norfolk Square, Paddington, and is just 2 minutes walk from Paddington station. Paddington itself is a buzzing district of London adjacent to the West End, and is packed full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Norfolk Square is an oasis of tranquility amongst this. It is a square (obviously) of tall, elegant Victorian mansions, all of which have been turned into budget hotels. The hotels are painted white and cream, and have tall windows and beautiful old railings outside. In the centre of them all is a railed garden. Apex City of London Hotel - outstanding

Advantages: Lovely staff, beautiful rooms, modern hotel
Disadvantages: Slightly out of the way of the West End

...We wanted to stay somewhere in central London that was value for money, and found this brilliant hotel for only £69 per night. We booked directly with the hotel itself, and while the system can be a little frustrating the transaction went through smoothly. This was in December 2008, so we didn't expect any decent hotels so close to Christmas to be so cheap. While this hotel is a little out of the way of main attractions it is close to the Tower of London, and to Tower Bridge and easily accessible by bus and tube. On arriving by tube, we found the hotel was alittle bit tricky to find, and were saved only by the fact that by boyfriend's phone has sat-nav! On arriving we were greeted by friendly and efficeint staff. The entrance to the hotel was modern and swish, befitting a four star hotel with marble and stainless tell everywhere...

...The Ibis hotel in Wellingborough in my opinion is a lovely hotel. It is located 2 km from the town centre and 2.5 km from the railway station It's also located just off the A45 to Northampton and M1 Junc 15 (approx 7 miles) making it ideally located for easy shopping trips. It's smashing for either weekday or weekend stays, very reasonably priced, and with the added bonus of events such the annual Drag racing events at Santa Pod and the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix race track, to mention but a couple. Close to numerous pubs, restaurants, with a Macdonalds within walking distance too, the hotel features a bar serving snacks 24 hours 7 days a week which was great, room service, free outdoor parking and a meeting room for seminars and conferences. ...My wife and I stayed at the IBIS hotel in West Swindon last weekend as we were going to a friends 40th birthday party that evening and neither us fancied the lengthy drive home in the early hours of the morning. We booked in for 1 night, planning to arrive on Saturday afternoon and leave on Sunday morning. We chose the IBIS because we wanted a budget hotel and because it was located very close to where the party was being held. Ibis - York

Advantages: Close to York center and attractions
Disadvantages: Basic hotel with basic features

...Arrived at the hotel at around 1pm on Friday 19th December. We eventually found the car park even though it was not sign posted at all (little side street to left of the Ibis and right behind the building). Giving the time of year we were relieved to find a space but there aren't many spaces at all so I suggest you arrive as early as you can. Once we got our very heavy case out of the car, we had to walk round the building again as there is no entry to the hotel from the car park which is very inconvenient. What is even worse is that there are steps up to the hotel and, with a case, it is extremely difficult to get it up them. There was a disabled lift next to the steps for wheelchairs but we had no way of operating it ourselves as a member of staff has to do it and there was no staff there. ~RECEPTION/CHECKING IN~ The reception...

Wonderful hotel in London, I would highly recommend it!

Advantages: Brilliant location, modern rooms, clean and friendly.
Disadvantages: None I can really think of, if I had to mention something it'd be the pricey internet.
