  SUN, SEA, SANGRIA "SAN ANTONIO BAY IBIZA"

Advantages: A beautiful,clean, friendly, warm and relaxing holiday
Disadvantages: Have to come home afterwards

Some of you may have even been there, it has had a lot of bad publicity over the years, which has encouraged more and more younger people to go, and by so doing has put quite a lot of families and older people off, Please don?t let all you hear put you off of such a beautiful place. Ibiza Uncovered.

Advantages: sun, sea, sand, relax or be lively. Reasonably priced holidays.
Disadvantages: none

...After going to majorca a few times we wanted to try somewhere different. My sister sugested Ibiza so we thought we would try it. After trawling through brochures for which part to try we chose Es Cana. Ibiza is famous as a clubber's paradise but there are other islands for those who want a quieter holiday. You can find the hustle and bustle if you want to, and you don't have to look far. It could be just a 10 min walk away. You may choose the quiet life just sitting on your balcony watching the days go by. I have 2 children aged 9 + 13 and I have gone to Ibiza for my last 2 holidays. We all think it is fantastic. It is very picturesque with fantastic clear seas and lovely sandy beaches. When I asked if we would try somewhere different this year everyone said no lets go back to Es Cana. Ibiza Rediscovered .... Puerto San Miguel

Advantages: Relaxed, quiet, beautiful surroudings.
Disadvantages: Captive market in local shops and bars meant high prices - you need a car.

Advantages: Best clubs in the world and great weather in lovely surroundings
Disadvantages: Littering and drunken Brits

...Most people in Britain will have heard of the Spanish island of Ibiza. It is part of the Balearics and is situated in the Mediterranean, around 2 1/2 hours flight from Britain. As soon as Ibiza is mentioned it conjures up images of drunken British yobs, drugged up clubbers and constant partying, and although all of these things do exist on this beautiful island I would say that it is not as full on as TV programmes such as 'Ibiza Uncovered' make it out to be. Much of the island plays host to many a family holiday, and in some of the remote areas you can observe traditional Spanish life that has remained unchanged for decades. Myself and Paul went to Ibiza in the summer of 2001 so any prices listed below have probably changed since the introduction of the Euro. ...I lived in Spain for nearly 18 years (in Valencia) and frequently visited Ibiza and feel in a priviledged position to share my views . There are many types of ibiza. There is the club crazy Ibiza for the young and flush. There is the unbearable San Antonio with its Fish and Chips, cheap drinks and the worst sort of tourist, there is the classy Ibiza town with its yachts in the port, its UNESCO protected old town with its restaurants and bars but always classy. There is the Ibiza of coves with wonderous little restaurants and bars on the beach and there is the inland hippy Ibiza with some truly outstanding little boutique hotels and where the likes of Roman Polanski have their holiday homes. The Real Ibiza

Advantages: Fantastic atmosphere, buzzing with life,the real Ibiza
Disadvantages: Can be expensive

...Ibiza Town is the most fascinating part of the island and is a must to visit if you on the island. Day or Night Its a concentration of all the attractions and eccentricities which have made Ibiza world famous...You can stroll through winding lanes of the Port area, wander up through cobbled streets of the Old Town to admire stunning views across the bay.....There are so many diverse restaurants to try or catch a ferry across to Formentera or to many neighboring beaches....There is not much accommodation in Ibiza Town - many stay in nearby Talamanca or Figeuretes which both have beaches and are within walking distance. There are extremely good restaurants in Ibiza Town with a historical setting or exceptional ambiance..such as in D'Alt Vila (inside the walls of the old castle)... these should be experienced at night. Ibiza

Advantages: so many places to go and party
Disadvantages: not really a family holiday

...i recently went to Ibiza in may 2005 and i did really enjoy it, but as i went with my family, i wouldnt really class it as a family holiday. we stayed in a villa in san jose, it wasnt that much of a drive away from things, it was a lovely villa, www.jamesvillas.com << (thats where we got it from) or though it was rather a pain to find but once we got there was wa simpressed, the pool was lovely and the villa was big, there was enough space for everyone, and the amount of lizards there were, the boys were occupied for hours!! night time wasnt a problem either, there was always somewerer different for us to eat, even if it was just macdonalds, it was cheaper, than goig and trying a random resturant , and having picky children with us, they might not have been completely satisfied with the foot, so a macdonalds ot a KFC was fine, there...

Manumission, Ibiza for the mainstream?

...This is my first review on music, so if anyone has any comments on how I might improve the review they would be more than welcome. Manumission The Ibiza Classics Collection. Presentation: It's a collection of 3 CD's (48 Tracks) that come in individual jewel cases within a cardboard sleeve. Personally I always end up throwing the sleeve away and the jewel cases are particularly thin and don't fit too well in stands etc. The artwork is pretty basic just a large M with what appears to be a collage of Manumission posters within it, on a white background. Each CD and the sleeve has the same artwork. The individual cases only list the songs there is a separate sleeve that lists the date of release, producers etc.. This is slightly annoying if you do not wish to keep the cardboard sleeve as it will not fit into the CD cases. CD1 1...
