The Town of Es Caná in Ibiza
Advantages: Hot, relaxing, sunny, clear water, lots to do
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
...Es Caná is a family resort on the East side of the island of Ibiza. It is about 30 minutes drive from the airport which is located in the South of the island near to the Capital of Ibiza Town. Es Caná has a beautiful crescent beach where there are no stones or pebbles, just lovely soft sand. The water is very clear and you can walk out quite far before it becomes too deep. There is a small harbour for fishing boats and a ferry which takes tourists to Ibiza Town, Santa Eulalia or even the nearby smaller island of Formentera.
Es Caná is very popular and there are a good amount of hotels and apartments to choose from. When I went this summer I stayed at the Hotel Marina Panorama which is opposite the harbour. This hotel is a Thomson Gold Hotel which means that they do not except anyone under the age of 16.
There are many restaurants...

Hotel Caribe, Es Cana, Ibiza
Advantages: Lots to do, Clean, Nice food
Disadvantages: Higher prices now!
...further afield there is a booking office in the resort and we got a great deal on a trip to the waterpark. We didnt book through the rep as their trips only go cerain days, so if you want an alternative day then go to the office! Only other thing we found was that when we wanted to go to Ibiza Town it took 2 buses to get their so we didnt go, was too hot and we didnt want to drag the kids their when it was hot.
All in all very nice and clean hotel, good food only a short walk to lots of things to do in Es Cana. When we went it was a 2 star and Thomson were just starting to place a rep there, now i see its a 3 star which is rightly so but the prices are now higher!...

Snap Happy Samsung!
Advantages: Great camera at a great price.
Disadvantages: None at the price, you get a great item for what you pay!
...I bought this camera in ASDA at the incredible price of £75 in a gorgeous chrome silver colour (pictured). I am probably one of the most indecisive shoppers around, so when it came to buying a digital camera, I was thoroughly confused by the choice and newly released technology, meaning every week a new camera with more mega pixels and better zoom and a toaster built in was released! This certainly does not making chosing easy!
Well, thanks to the advice of the very helpful assistant in ASDA, I was able to finally decide on the Samsung ES55 and have no regrets! Ok, so how do you chose the right camera for you? It's all about accepting there is SO much variety but making sure you know what you want, that way you can really trim down the choice. Also, pick a reliable brand and as I have been informed, Samsung are one of the best. I had...

Ibiza Uncovered.
Advantages: sun, sea, sand, relax or be lively. Reasonably priced holidays.
Disadvantages: none
...After going to majorca a few times we wanted to try somewhere different. My sister sugested Ibiza so we thought we would try it. After trawling through brochures for which part to try we chose Es Cana.
Ibiza is famous as a clubber's paradise but there are other islands for those who want a quieter holiday. You can find the hustle and bustle if you want to, and you don't have to look far. It could be just a 10 min walk away. You may choose the quiet life just sitting on your balcony watching the days go by.
I have 2 children aged 9 + 13 and I have gone to Ibiza for my last 2 holidays. We all think it is fantastic. It is very picturesque with fantastic clear seas and lovely sandy beaches.
When I asked if we would try somewhere different this year everyone said no lets go back to Es Cana. The weather has been great on both occassions...

Education, Ibiza style.
Advantages: It's an Education
Disadvantages: I still dont live there
...) and head for the East Coast, above the town of Es Cana (where the Tourists S(h)it(pp)ty market is), and look for a tiny village called "Las Dalias".
Although not entirely untouched by commercialism - you can still but the Bongo drums here, this market has a much more rustic, local feel to it. And you're less likely to get your pocket picked too.
Thursday, our last day, and I've saved the best until last.
We head into Ibiza Town, known locally as Eivissa.
Ibiza in olden days was a very important island, being one of the last known locations for the Phoenicians and more recently, the Carthaginians.
A quick history lesson, to save some of you from Googling 'Carthage'; The Carthaginians were the race of people from whom Hannibal built his army that fought the Romans and who Hannibal then set off across the Alps with his Elephants.

Cafe Del Ibiza
Advantages: Clubs, Clubs and more Clubs, breathtaking scenery
Disadvantages: Expensive
...and see some yatchs that will take your breath away.
Whilst in Santa Eulalia you would not believe that you are actually in Ibiza as it is so tranquil.
There is a palm-lined promenade which runs alongside the beach and, again, the beach is perfectly safe for children.
Santa Eulalia is known on the island for its cuisine and art galleries, which is a far cry from the clubs on the rest of the island. Saying that, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to pass your time away.
If I had to pick, I would probably recommend this town the most for a family holiday.
ES CANA
Another family resort, very similar to the two above. Renowed for it?s Hippy Market which is held every Wednesday in the grounds of Punta Arabi between the months of May and October.
I cannot tell you too much more about Es Cana as I only payed a flying...

Ibiza Hippie by Escada perfume!
Advantages: beautiful light smell!
Disadvantages: Hard to find, and a little expensive!
...Escada Ibiza Hippie
I got this perfume in a Collector?s Edition pack of 5 Escada Perfumes; Island kiss, Rockin? Rio, Pacific Paradise, Sunset Heat and Ibiza Hippie.
I first heard of Escada when I bought Pacific Paradise on the Ferry on the way to Italy, from then on the smell always reminded me of that holiday, and became one of my favourite perfumes. So when I saw this pack for £12.50 for 5 small bottles (4ml each), I just had to buy them to try them all, so I could choose my favourite one!
And I must say they were all delicious! With such strong fruity smells which stuck around all day, my only problem was there wasn?t enough of it in the bottles, and I tended to use half a bottle each time I used it!
But it gave me a great experience of using them all so I could choose which ones I wanted in larger bottles rather than...

The Non - Clubbers Guide to Ibiza
Advantages: The beauty of the Island is second-to-none!
Disadvantages: Noise!
...This is THE guide for those people who want to visit the clubbing capital of the world, without the clubbing! Do you think Amnezia is just forgetfulness? Or that Manumission sounds like David Beckham’s new hair cut? If yes, then read on for an almost entirely club free guide to Ibiza.
I’ve been to Ibiza five times and believe it is the most idyllic and beautiful places ever. If, like me, you like a holiday to relax, the Ibiza could be the place for you! The following guide to the four places I have visited could help you choose a destination.
1) For a beach holiday, try the peace and quiet of EsCana. This is a small town, and it’s white beaches, clear sea and quiet atmosphere make it one of the most popular places on the island. Plus, it’s only a 5-minute walk from the biggest market in the Balearics! Having...

SUN, SEA, SANGRIA "SAN ANTONIO BAY IBIZA"
Advantages: A beautiful, clean, friendly, warm and relaxing holiday
Disadvantages: Have to come home afterwards
...You have probably heard of San Antonio, Ibiza? Some of you may have even been there, it has had a lot of bad publicity over the years, which has encouraged more and more younger people to go, and by so doing has put quite a lot of families and older people off, Please don?t let all you hear put you off of such a beautiful place.
I am not actually talking about San Antonio Town, where all the night life, famous night clubs, like Es Paradise where they are open all night and have water parties, or Eden which is another favourite of the youngsters,
No I?m talking about the bay, about a mile around the bend from all this, or 10 mins across the water by boat.
Let me tell you a bit about my experience of the bay and you decide then what you think.!
My first encounter with Ibiza was 5 years ago, my friend, her Husband, Daughter (then 21...
