Fiesta Don Carlos Hotel Ibiza

Advantages: Relaxing, very close to the beach,10 mins away from shops
Disadvantages: not the place to go if you want nightclubs, as its the quieter side of the island

...I first stayed at this hotel, two years ago, with my boyfriend, and he and his parents had been going to this part of the island for many years, but when he mentioned Ibiza my first thought was, its going to be very noisy, full of clubs, bars and lots of drinking, as i had heard all the stories, but i thought i would go just to see, i couldn't have been more wrong,. The hotel itself has just been redecorated, and is very well kept, there is an indoor bar, and restaurant and they also have an outside dinning area, but space is limited so you have to be early for dinner, there is a large pool, which has a seperated area for children, There are steps leading down to the beach, and another outdoor bar just off to your left as you reach the bottom of the steps, which is also part of the hotel. Advantages: Lots to do, Clean, Nice food
Disadvantages: Higher prices now!

...further afield there is a booking office in the resort and we got a great deal on a trip to the waterpark. We didnt book through the rep as their trips only go cerain days, so if you want an alternative day then go to the office! Only other thing we found was that when we wanted to go to Ibiza Town it took 2 buses to get their so we didnt go, was too hot and we didnt want to drag the kids their when it was hot. All in all very nice and clean hotel, good food only a short walk to lots of things to do in Es Cana. When we went it was a 2 star and Thomson were just starting to place a rep there, now i see its a 3 star which is rightly so but the prices are now higher!...

Advantages: central location
Disadvantages: noisy at night in rooms on promanade side

...Ses Savines Is central located right by the sea ,a walkway runs in front which goes to San Antonio about 10mins walk, the rooms that face the sea can be noisy at night from 2am till 6 am with clubbers going to and fro , also rooms can be booked with seaview at a supplement , some rooms have trees in front so the view is blocked and at the price is a rip off if you end up in them , as the sunsets are ace if you can see them , also hotel is generally disabled friendly with ramps about , some places not accessible are the front pool which has 2 steps up to it and the crazy golf, which is at the rear of the building where the tennis courts. the rear is less noisy at night and gets the sun first thing in the morning...

...I have stayed in the Hotel Miami, maybe three times. I have been to Es Cana probably about 8 or 9 times now. I'm only 20. Anyway, on with the review. When I first stayed in the Hotel Miami, I was only young, but I do remember. We had a corner room with a balcony overlooking the sea and bar area, this due to my sister being in a wheelchair and needing the extra space. They were very helpful and did well to accommodate for this. Although the beds needed a bit of a shuffle and the wheelchair could not get into the bathroom. (As I say, we were young so Dad simply lifted her across). The rooms were comfortable. I remember them originally being abit dreary in decor, but I know for a fact they have since decorated as they were a nice light green colour last time I stayed. Really brightening up the room and making you feel welcome...

Disadvantages: You dont want to go back home.

...What a wonderful hotel. What a wonderful location. Lovely and helpful staff. We are not long back from a great holiday to san antonnio bay in ibiza. It was the first week in the season and found it the perfect time to go. It was not over busy but still plenty to do and see. With lots of fantastic bars along the bay. Even in may it was about 27c and sunny for the whole week. Well let me tell you a bit about the hotel ses savines and its surroundings. The hotel is set right on the sandy beach which was very nice and clean with great views over the bay. You get lovely views of the town and all the expensive boats. The views of the sunset from this hotel are amazing. This is a family run hotel and has a sister hotel just a short walk along the bay. ...My husband,myself and our two children have been to Ibiza once before and fell in love with the island, we stayed in the quieter resort of Es Cana and really enjoyed our holiday. After that we decided to return this time taking my parents with us, we chose the Hotel Miami for its location and family friendly reputation, it is also a 3 star hotel which we thought was even better as my parents were used to stopping in 4 star Hotels (adult only ones). We booked through First Choice and arrived in Es Cana in June 2005. Our first impressions of the hotel were good. #ROOMS# Our rooms were adequate and clean with a TV, air con and plenty of storage. ...decide on its customers. As we were a young group of lads visiting ibiza we would not be in till early hours of the mornings. We got a warning after the first night for noise that wasnt even us, we werent even in the hotel at the time of the complaint. The walls in the hotel are also very thin and you can hear anythin that happens right the way down the corridor. There is also a lack of plugs in the rooms and we ended up using one in the corridor to iron our clothes. The food at the hotel wasnt too bad, but is slightly repentitive as you would expect. We went out for a couple of meals and english breakfasts in local bars, which were good value. There is lots to do outside the hotel too, a mini golf place opposite with trapolines and a rodeo bull. ...the steps, which is fine so there is actually enough room, just be prepared to get up that extra bit early!! The fiesta staff do a great job throughout the day with all the activities like killer pool, killer darts, ping pong, and their own fun games. The prizes are a bottle of bubbly for the adults and certificates for the children. To be honest, before we went we were a bit weary because of all the bad reviews, but its not like that. Okay, the entertainments not great, but make sure you see Zapping, and the Karaoke and Mr Tanit. They are all great fun & hilarious. The only bad thing about it is The French Hotel next door. ...Escada Ibiza Hippie I got this perfume in a Collector?s Edition pack of 5 Escada Perfumes; Island kiss, Rockin? Rio, Pacific Paradise, Sunset Heat and Ibiza Hippie. I first heard of Escada when I bought Pacific Paradise on the Ferry on the way to Italy, from then on the smell always reminded me of that holiday, and became one of my favourite perfumes. So when I saw this pack for £12.50 for 5 small bottles (4ml each), I just had to buy them to try them all, so I could choose my favourite one! And I must say they were all delicious! With such strong fruity smells which stuck around all day, my only problem was there wasn?t enough of it in the bottles, and I tended to use half a bottle each time I used it!
