Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System
Advantages: Sense Of Proffesionalism, Very Smooth, Great Grip and Control
Disadvantages: Not Very Portable, As State Of The Art it comes at a high price
...The Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System is state of the art in flight control systems. As a frequent user of flight simulator the saitek X52 has made my flying even more enjoyable with the control smoothness and joystick re-centereing. In total the amount of different switches is 30, however as there are three mode settings you can have up to 90 button configurations. Installation is quick and simple, and runs as soon as connected via USB. In total with both the throttle and joystick there are 7 axis instead of the usual 3/4 on older joysticks. The metal material on both the throttle and joystick gives a sense of proffesionalism and the rubberised surface on the throttle and joystick handle give a good firm grip. I would recommend this to anyone who has a serious interest in flight simulation both civil and combat. Even though it...

IBM X236 tower / rack server
Advantages: Very versatile mid range server
Disadvantages: support web site can be awkward to navigate
...allow IP management from boot up (although I think this card is quite expensive (about £450.00 but don't quote me as I have never bought one).
As with all IBM servers it comes with the ServerGuide startup CD which allows you to quickly configure your disks, create a utility partition (containing all the relevant drivers) and automatically install your OS. The only thing that takes a little time is synch'ing the arrays but I normally kick it off then go and do something else for a couple of hours then come back and do the OS setup part of it. You also get the IBM Director CD (see my X226 review) which allows for complete monitoring and reporting in the event of warnings, errors or predictive failure.
Overall I think this is an excellent server. You could buy it at base level with a couple of GBs of RAM and a pair of mirrored drives. As...

Logitech X-230 2:1 Speaker System.
Advantages: Compact, deep loud sub, styling of satellites, competitive pricing.
Disadvantages: Much more powerful systems available.
...These speakers were purchased from Argos for £40 to use on my laptop. However I've since learnt I could have bought them for half this amount. The integrated laptop speakers were just to frustratingly quiet to listen to music. The subwoofer provides high quality bass and even when the volume is maxed the quality stays high. A lot of more expensive and powerful systems are not this crisp. For a small room they are ideal. You should only get bigger if you don't have or like your neighbours, because from downstairs I can hear the bass rumbling away even on half volume.
The styling of the satellites is good, and the size of the subwoofer is acceptable if you are short on space. The quality is just brilliant though and crisp just as stated, if quality is bad it is your computer or power supply, not these. The headphone style connector...

logitech X230 speaker system review
Advantages: good quality music, subwoofer, can be hooked up to almost anything
Disadvantages: none for a speaker really
...Since I bought this speaker system i have doubled my time listening to music purely because of the excellent quality sound that bursts out of this system.
The speaker volume can reach a massive amplitude and is still clear at maximum volume.
The subwoofer has its own bass volume at the back which you can crank up to feel the whole house vibrate.
This system can be connected to any device which has a headphone jack (a hole wear you put standard headphones) that means all mp3 players, laptops, computers, mp4 devices, T.V's and some phones can play media through these speakers.
You have to connect a plug to the mains since its a high quality speaker system and there is a cable which connects the speakers to the subwoofer.
There is no installation required, just plug it in and its ready.
The design is great, very unique...

High Speed Server
Advantages: Quad Core processing technology with 2 processors
Disadvantages: traditional DDR2 RAM
...Servers are generally meant for professional use and there are not for personal use and personal computers. There are many brands available in the market with low level configuration to high level costly servers. IBM and HP are some of the brands which have good range of servers available with the requirement of the market.
***
Previously I have discussed about HP server and now I am going to explain another good product from IBM Corporation. IBM is well known brand in the market and it is also known as the first manufacturer of personal computers. So have a look on latest product of IBM in server category.
***
Design and look
This is a very highly configured server with excellent features but it is generally meant for large corporate business. Due to its advanced technology and features everyone can't afford this.
The design is as...

what more could you want?
Advantages: price for what it does
Disadvantages: could have an lcd screen
...I decided to do a review on this Lexmark for a few reasons, not only is it a fantastic printer, but the main reason I decided to review to was that I have had some comments saying other all in one Lexmark printers I have reviewed are a bit on the pricy side.
And I agree, so here is a fantastic printer, made by Lexmark, who make and specialise in designing and making quality printers. Its does a lot of things and even has some capabilities built it that for a printer coming in at under £50 you just wouldn’t expect.
The first thing, just because its cheaper than there other ones, don’t expect it to look worse, in fact this is one of my favourite designs that Lexmark have done, it is very similar to the X3550, however there are a few differences.
The best way to describe its shape is to describe it as three separate...

Bose SoundDock Digital Music System Review
Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods
Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive
...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System
I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting
Summary:
This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these.
Pros:
This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential.
I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Can't get much simpler. It also runs off a wall...

ibm x20
Advantages: weight, price, features for the money
Disadvantages: fairly basic spec these days.
...i purchased a refurbished ibm x20 about sixth months ago from a 2nd hand IT retailer .
screen 12.1" 1024x768 tft
cpu , p3-600
ram - variable , 128-320mb
hdd- 20gb
graphics - 4mb ati chip
2x usb 1
1x pcmcia port
1x compact flash port
wieght . 1.4kg
Review: i bought the laptop primarily because i wanted a vaery light laptop and this one provided the best spec for the money.
Mine had 320mb ram, and i have installed windows XP pro on it which runs perfectly well on it, despite the relatively low power of the cpu.
The battery life is surprsingly good, (given the battery was not new) and i get between 2 and 3 hrs on it depending on settings and what programs i am running.
the machine is so light you hardly notice it in your bag, the screen is great and offers a nice 1024x768 which is perfect for the sie of the screen...

The x445
Advantages: Reliable, fast, robust
Disadvantages: A bit heavy... but doesn't matter once it's in the rack
...between servers using just one mouse, keyboard and monitor.
As with most newer servers, the x445 has Gigabit capability- so you can have transfer rates of up to 1Gbit /sec (1000Mbit/sec) to your core LAN switches if of course the switches are Gigabit-capable and you're using CAT6 wiring (CAT5e transfer rates are only 100Mbit/sec max). Sorry if that just suddenly went extemely techie, but there wasn't really another way of saying it- escept perhaps "It's got a really fast network connector at the back!"
Without going into an obscene amount of technical detail, that really is the IBM x445 in a nutshell. Once installed, it works away quite happily and when the users aren't misusing it, it works very quickly indeed. It's a good bit of kit, and if you need something to install a heavy-duty enterprise operating system on, you could do a lot...

IBM ThinkPad X41
Advantages: Extreme performace and user experience
Disadvantages: 128 mb graphics memory low performance
...IBM Thinkpad x41 with the Ultrabase is the best and most powerful laptop of its kind. 1.3 kg and with the 8 cell battery up to 6 hours operating time, it is mostly suited for travelers and collage students
Instead of the standard 512 mb of RAM, ive got the 1.5 GB installed, so it is faster and has better performance.
It has the touchpoint interface, which is the second best after the mouse because it is more precise than the touchPad.
The ThinkLight HDD protection is useful when you are traveling by bus or train because it suits itself to repeated bumps and allows the HDD run even with heavy vibration.
As suited to IBMs, there is a little light in the edge of the monitor, which is very good in the dark.
Especially I like the location of the processor cooling vent, which is on the side and keeps the processor cool even...
