Girly Ice Cubes!

Advantages: Look cool, durable, dishwasher safe
Disadvantages: Maybe a bit too girly for the boys!

...As it's summer and the weather is getting hotter I thought I would invest in an ice cube tray so that I could make my drinks extra cold. I'm not a big fan of the ice cube bags which you only use once, this adds up and they can get quite expensive (and for some reason I always manage to catch some of the plastic into the water so that there is plastic bag in the ice cubes - not good!) Also they are not very environmentally friendly, only being able to use them once. I was on the lego website looking at the 'Apparel, Home & Outdoors' section when I came across this really cute ice cube tray. The ice cube tray is from the 'Belville' range of lego (basically lego for girls). The tray comes in a soft pink rubber material. ...This ice cube tray will give you the coolest ice cubes ever! I really like Lego and the idea of having Lego shaped ice cubes seemed wonderful. I bought this from the Lego website for £3.99. I am not sure whether it is available in Lego shops in the high street, but I imagine it would be. If not it is available on the website, but you do have to remember that p&p costs are added on! The tray comes in yellow and is made out of a rubbery material and each ice cube comes out shaped like a lego building brick! The Lego logo is printed at the bottom of the mold. Advantages: Simply one of the fiercest hip hop albums ever
Disadvantages: One or two below par tracks, and the two extra 'missing' tracks don't really fit in

..."Raw Footage" is the eighth solo album from one of the founding members of N.W.A, Ice Cube. Cube came into the game in the late eighties as part of the rise of Gangsta Rap movement, which was spawned from the exposure of Hip Hop over in LA, and since they had to relate it to their street life, the gangsta lifestyle became part of their music. With Ice-T, MC Ren and Dr. Dre, they managed to get this unique sound of the West Coast up, and it is now the main style used by Hip Hop acts of today. Since its peak in the mid-ninties, the West Coast scene has died down, so it could have been difficult for Cube to come up with something for the listeners of now. ...There's nothing better for me in the summer than a nice cool iced drink. What doesn't work for me is struggle that I always seem to have fighting the ice cube out of the tray. This usually sees me a) bashing it to death of my work surface or b) easing it with warm water and then losing half the ice in the process. I'm not a fan of bagged ice either as it takes up a lot of storage space and, in my opinion, is a waste of money. Given my problems in this field, when I saw these ice cube trays, I thought they were definitely worth a go. They give the ice cube a different shape - a good talking point for drinks at parties, and also good for the kids. But more importantly, the ice cube tray is actually pretty supple. Ice 'muthafuckin' Cube at his best

...I recently bought War & Peace (The War Disk) after hearing 'Fuck Dying', Cube's excellent collaboration with KoRn. I thought this tune was excellent so I purchased the album. This CD is better than good, it's excellent! Cube's lyrics are well thought out and his beats are a cut above the rest. From 'Ask About Me' to 'Fuck Dying' to 'Penitentiary', these tunes are all wicked! In my opinion, Ice Cube is the best rapper by far, and this album proves this. Since I bought it, it has rarely been out of my CD player and it is one of the best CD's I own. I recommend this CD to any fan of gangsta rap and hip-hop, or anyone who appreciates good music....

...Now first of all this is my first review, so if it isn't perfect don't hold a grudge. I am a huge Ice Cube fan as you should be able to tell by the user name, however this review is not biased in any way and is my honest opinion on the album. First of all, this album is fire. Cube explodes on every track, there is no lack of emotion when he spits each verse. If you have ever thought of buying an Ice Cube cd or any rap cd i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to you. This is gangsta rap at it's finest. It may not have the political and social commentary of Cube's first albums ("Amerikkka's Most Wanted", "The Predator", etc) but has just the same intensity and better production than previous albums.
