Lip smacking , thirst quenching Iced Tea .
Advantages: Tasty, good value, refreshing, healthy?, no nasty additives?convenient
Disadvantages: None for me .
...I haven't a bottle or can of Lipton Iced Tea in front of me to give you any details from the packaging but I am very familiar with this product. On my last holiday abroad it was part of my daily beverages for a fortnight. Whilst holidaying on the Algarve, Portugal, I found that the hot, hot, hot weather made me incredibly thirsty. Of course there's always a nice cold beer but long term alcohol is supposed to dehydrate you in hot weather. The ice cold, bottled mineral water was refreshing but bland and nothing to write home about. Fizzy lemonades were only piling on the holiday pounds at record rate and coffee leaves me feeling thirsty.
Enter Lipton Ice Tea. This product can be purchased in small or large bottles or cans. It is served in restaurants and cafes in a long chilled glass with the regulation straw. Traditionally it is lemon...

Time For Tea - Ice Anyone?
Advantages: Low cost and good source of vitamin C
Disadvantages: Minimal Taste
...Lipton Ice Tea
My friend had long since had Lipton Ice Tea within her drink collection though I had always turned it down before as it never really made sense to me - ice plus tea really did not go in my mind, though the other day I was around her house and had seen this review opportunity so I thought that I would give it a try, after all, it couldn't hurt, could it?
******The Product******
For those history buffs out there, a quick history lesson!
Thomas J Lipton had a vision back in the 1880's to make tea accessible to all at acceptable prices, remembering that tea was somewhat of a luxury back then. By the 1890's he had created a range of teas which grew to huge success over the UK and the US. It wasn't until many years later, though, that this 'oddity' of Ice Tea established itself on the market as an 'exciting addition...

Who's for Tea? Ice Tea, that is!
Advantages: Refreshing, nice taste
Disadvantages: None
...I've never been much of a fan of fizzy drinks and, given the choice, would always plump for a still drink. One such drink is Lipton's Ice Tea.
As the name suggests, tea features somewhere in this drink, but we're not talking normal tea here. Oh no, 'ice tea' is quite different to packet tea. It is described as a 'still soft drink with tea extract' and is available in three flavours: lemon, peach and mango. All these flavours are nice, but my favourite is the peach and it is this one that I will be reviewing today.
Lipton Ice Tea Peach flavour comes in a clear plastic bottle with a red top. The bottle itself is surrounded by a bright yellow product label which helps it stand out from among its competitors. 'Ice Tea' appears on the front and back of the bottle in bold, chunky white lettering set against a blue border, and just...

Lipton Ice Tea
Advantages: A refreshing drink
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
...Lipton Ice Tea is a great and refreshing drink it can be brought for an average price of £1.49 and i used to buy it in Asda but they don't sell it any more but you can buy it in Morrisons or Sainsburys.
Lipton Ice tea comes in two flavours of Lemon and Peach I find the Peach tastes nicer than the lemon you can also buy these unsweetened. The lemon flavour Ice tea has a yellow lid and the peach has a red lid so you can tell the difference of which one you are buying. Lipton ice Tea is best served ice cold.
Lipton Ice Tea is probably a drink that you either like it or you don't and you don't have to put water with it.
The ingredients of the peach Ice tea are:
Water, Sugar, Citric Acid, Tea Extract (14%), Peach Juice (0.1%), Flavouring, Antioxidant (Ascorbic Acid),
Typical Values per 100ml
Energy 120kj/29kcal

Ice Tea!!!!! How DARE they?!
Advantages: Refreshing soft drink without the fizziness!
Disadvantages: Can be a bit sweet to the taste buds
...I know! I know! The very thought of ICE TEA sends shivers down the British spine. It is SACRALIGIST! How dare you defile tea with ice and lemon!
However, one must remember that I am the heathen American. I just LOVE a nice tall glass of ice tea! There is nothing like the tinkle of ice in a glass and refreshing taste of ice tea. So, 4 years ago when I moved to this country it was one of the major things I missed. Sure, I tried making my own ice tea- It is the way I prefer. But, I quickly realised that not even the tea is the same and there in lies the problem. Ice tea is usually made with Orange Pekoe tea. Most British tea is made with Black tea which does have a different flavour and does not make good ice tea.
So, when I first came across Lipton Ice Tea, I was very excited! I quickly grabbed a bottle. I could hardly...

Lipton ice tea, do you want to torture yourself?
Advantages: Lots of varieties
Disadvantages: Better after taste, strange smell
...Lipton as a brand was one of the best selling brands in the world. It's not only tea leaves or tea bags but extended to refreshment such as Lipton ice tea. The idea at first was quite new and interesting, every one wanted to give it a try specially in summer when every one is looking for something soothing and cold.
I can remember the ad in the TV showing the first variety which was the lemon and I can remember how people were very excited to try it. The lemon is the worst of these varieties , very sour, extra bitter makes your throat extra dry and your tongue as hard as a rock. Not to mention the color , very unappealing.
As a tea drinker, I can express my opinion about that product with the positives and negatives points, unfortunately the negative are much more! starting with the name as there no traces of tea...

Hot tea or Ice Tea?
Advantages: new refreshment, healthy affordable
Disadvantages: not for those hot tea drinkers
...I was on my way to work when I realized that I need to buy a drink. Long ago I have encountered Lipton selling Ice Tea brands. The brands that used to be sold in my place were in powdered form where in it is mixed with water to give a refreshing drink. Forward to now, I found out that Lipton is selling it already in a ready made form where in it is bottled. So how could Lipton measure up? Nice question.
First, I need to point out to my dear readers that most British or English have their tea in hot form and with milk. Thus, drinking this Lipton Ice tea will be a venture to them. If you are used to drinking tea as it is and had tried Ice tea then this is no alien thing for you.
I might quite find it not uncommon to drink such tea and enjoyed it on the past.
So how thus it measure up from my own experience?
Let us look into...

My ice tea addiction.
Advantages: Tastes nice when chilled and its cheap to buy.
Disadvantages: It tastes rubbish warm and can be to weak in flavour depending on batch.
...I don't really have an ice tea addiction or do I?
Well it's not always been my number one drink but it tastes nice when chilled. I have come to realize for most drinks its hard writing a long review. Maybe it's just me tell me if I am right but back to the ice tea by Lipton.
If I was to choose between coke or ice tea I would pick the ice tea because its better for me and it tastes better all rounds.
To be honest I haven't had ice tea for this week honest and I'm not totally desperate for it but ?.
Is he coming back?
Now that I have gone to my local shop and paid about 90p for some ice tea. My local store is kept well supplied on a shelf and NOT IN THE FRIDGE.
I have my Lipton's ice tea safely hidden in the fridge to chill I'm guarding it so it doesn't run away.
What...

♥Lipton Ice Tea♥
Advantages: Refreshing, great alternative to fizzy
Disadvantages: Taste is a bit dull
...Firstly, let me clarify, As Ciao has not listed this item as one flavour I will be mainly talking about the peach flavour ice tea in my review!
There are, 4 flavours of Lipton ice tea- Peach, lemon, mang and green tea orange.
Lipton
Thomas Johnstone Lipton was borne in 1850 and he wanted to make tea accesible to everyone at good prices. Lipton is the 15th biggest selling soft drink brand in the world.
So what is lipton ice tea Ice Tea?
Ice tea is jsut like normal tea except it is served cold (Best when ice cold!) It's made from tea leaves as normal and it packed full of antioxidants. Lipton ice tea is made from using a small amount of fruitjuice andwater and belnding this with tea.
What does it taste like?
Lipton ice tea is, in my opinion, the best tasting ice tea I have found so far. Not only is...

Tea? With Ice? It's Lipton!
Advantages: Reasonably priced, good taste, fair packaging.
Disadvantages: Few bad taste related aspects.
...After getting the 'reading reviews' fever recently, I resolved that it was time for me to start writing product and service reviews on Ciao! and therefore give something back to the Ciao! review public in return for the inestimable help they've given me (and many others, I'm sure) in helping to decide which products to buy in today's highly competitive market.
Enough blabbermouthing, let's go...
**This review is composed of my personal experiences with the product concerned and includes pieces of information found by thorough research**
The product I'll be reviewing today is, suprise, suprise, the Ice Tea from tea making giant
Lipton.
--Lipton--
