Advantages: None over a PC or Laptop Disadvantages: Constant interuption when playing on demand programmes
...The IMP came with old software that needed updating online and involved calls to the service department who were helpful but very offhand bordering on rude.
Once working (?) the system appears to work reasonably well listening to live broadcasts.
However, if you intend to use this to listen to BBC on demand then think again. The system constantly buffers i.e. a buffer is a region of memory used to temporarily holds data while it is being moved from one place to another. The buffering usually ensures smooth playing of video games music etc online.
When listening to BBC Listen Again the buffering is so band that I have experienced 10 seconds music followed by 15 seconds silence while the IMP buffers the next music bite. The constant interruptions make the IMP little more than useless.

Advantages: Magical, well written, something for potter fans Disadvantages: Not as good as the stories
...film comes in very useful.
Now back to the problems I now realise I have in my garden. What was the problem, you wonder? Well, I kept tripping up in various parts of my garden, tree roots I thought (as being a dumb wizard I knew nothing of the various beasts around), but no tree roots do not chuckle at you, do they? Well after reading this little book I have discovered that my garden is infested with imps!
For those that are wondering this is a concise and well-written guidebook although why it is listed as a children’s book, I cannot understand. I have seen so many muggle adults reading this that there must be some mistake. Now there are no magical adventures in here but this book may add to your enjoyment of some of JK Rowling’s tales of Harry Potter.
Ok, there it is Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, buy it...
Advantages: An excellent example of a dark coloured Mild ale. Disadvantages: Not a golden coloured bitter!
...time was at the Arkwright Arms at Sutton-cum-Duckmanton, near Chesterfield. We paid £2.45 for a pint on that occasion and really enjoyed the couple of pints we had. I have paid anything from £2.00 to £2.70 a pint for Impy in different places, so expect to pay anything between those two amounts.
I will concede that not everyone is going to drink dark coloured beers. Many people favour the light coloured golden ales and bitters on the market. They are tasty with their light citrusy fruit flavours and their light textures, but we need to keep the variety and offer choice to the drinkers out there. I thoroughly recommend that you give Impy Dark a try - it is tasty, feels good and is a good quality beer. Look out for the pump clip with the little black imp clutching a pint of beer?

Review of Brampton Impy Dark
Advantages: Awesome Architecture, Religious Significance, The Da Vinci Code. Disadvantages: None
...positioned over four striking stained glass windows are of an awesome size and packed with detail. A small display near the North Dean's Eye window highlights the very different designs between the two. The Dean's Eye window was the object of a recent £2million restoration project, an undertaking which has not been seen in Europe since the Notre Dam restoration over 130 years ago. The restoration took 16 years to complete.
When you stand under the Central Tower in the Crossing area, it is actually quite breathtaking to gain an appreciation of the size of the construction given the age of the Cathedral.
My personal favourite major areas of the cathedral were the St Hugh's Choir, the Cloisters, and I also liked the Gilbert Pots and hunting down the Lincoln Imp. The Choir, in the centre of the Cathedral dates back 900 years, and is...

Review of Lincoln Cathedral
Advantages: Great humour, thought-provoking, clever references Disadvantages: None that I've found
...and plenty of creativity, it also has a vast number of inventions which are easily recognisable to those of us from 21st century earth, cleverly powered by 12th century technology. Cameras, for instance, look somewhat like the box brownies of the 19th century, and work by having not brownies but bad-tempered imps inside them, painting pictures of whatever they see through the peep-hole.
So, when someone has the bright idea of using a team of imps, painting extremely fast onto octo-cellulose, the concept of 'moving pictures' is born. Salamanders - creatures who absorb light from the sun and then give out light when startled - are used in another box to project the images from the octo-cellulose onto a large screen. There is no sound, and the movies (or 'clicks' as they're known on Discworld) tend to feature brave young men rescuing...
Advantages: Improvement Disadvantages: The future?
...- The attack is regularly changing with Simon Yeo, Gary Taylor Fletcher and Derek Asamoah along with some substitute attackers who include Francis Green, Martin Carruthers and Ollie Ryan, who is just coming up from the youth set up into the first team. Yeo is currently top scorer for the imps and his finishing has improved vastly since his arrival from non-league. He is great to watch and the fans love him. Taylor Fletcher provides support for the attack and is often seen making mazy runs through the defence. Newcomer Derek Asamoah has extreme pace and skill and has shown he is capable of creating chances from nothing and is a delight to watch.
The manager is Keith Alexander who has proved to be very successful by turning the club from relegation survivals to promotion hopefuls. He has done this whilst being close to administration and has worked...

Review of Lincoln City
Advantages: Holds more than 10 albums Disadvantages: See below
...I recently went to use my personal CD player and to my disappointment it was broken. Anyhow I decided it was time to give up the ghost and buy myself something new. I grabbed the Argos catalogue and had a browse and spotted a cheap little 1 GB MP3 Player and as I have just added all my CD collection onto my hard drive a short while ago I thought this would be ideal.
The MP3 player made by a company called iitronics who have their own website www.iitronics.com . The model that I purchased was the IMP-65 Portable WMA/MP3 player. It can hold up to 1024MB of data and has a built in microphone.
The packaging was very good and it included some basic earphones, a USB cable, an AAA battery and a CD driver disc. There was also Warranty card and a user manual.
The earphones are very basic and struck me as peculiar because near the jack...
Advantages: Sleek, svelte design. Disadvantages: Battery life falls far short of the advertised 55 hours
...I have owned my iMP 550 since shortly after it was released. I can't remember exactly when that was but it has been at least a year!
I love my CD player. It looks great and it does what I need it to do.
It has several awards including a CNET editors award:
CNET Editor's Choice
"If you're looking for an MP3 CD player, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better choice at any price."
There are problems with it however...
First and foremost is the battery life. Whilst companies often overstate the battery life of their products, this seems to be a gross overestimation as far as I am concerned. I can get about 5-10 hours out of my 550 and have never come close to the proclaimed 55.
This is annoying and people should be made aware of it even though it hasn't affected me too badly.
Another fault is with the startup time. I...
