...I bought this on recommendation from a friend and colleague, who uses it for cleaning at work as well as at home. She said it does the job where other cleaners are just not good enough, so I promptly went out and bought some. I paid £1.05 in Tesco, which I thought was surprisingly cheap for a big name brand like Cif. Cif claim that this bathroom mousse gives brilliant results with minimum effort. You just need to spray the mousse on, leave it 5-10 minutes, and rinse it off. It's suitable for use on plastic, enamel and chrome surfaces. The mousse comes in a tall cylindrical can with a see-through lime green domes lid. The top has the usual mousse-can spray, with a button at one side of the nozzle, which you just press down and out squirts the mousse. Don't use Dolphin Bathrooms

Disadvantages: Price, poor fitting and even poorer customer after service

...I have had a really bad experience with Dolphin Bathrooms (March 2008). The quote was on the high side but I was assured that the quality was worth it. Despite the fact that the designer/surveyor and delivery office being informed of my limited storage all of the equipment was delivery 2 1/2 week before installation (I live in a flat) which was really inconvenient. I was assured that installation is carried out by employees of Dolphins, this is not the case the installation was done by a local plumber who done a really bad job and worked strange hours, i,e Mothering Sunday! And hassled me after the installation because he hadn't been paid as I wasn't happy with the work. I was charged for an outside tower and for the walls and ceiling to be dry lined and skimmed this didn't happen ( I still haven't had a refund) in fact...

Bathroom Fiasco

Disadvantages: Terrible customer service, shoddy workmanship

...We had been looking forward to having our new bathroom as the one in our recently purchased home looked like it had been there before the house was build in the sixties! We chose Dolphin as they are a well known company and we had had one of their showers in our previous house which served us well for nine years. However I would never ever use the company again. Detailing all of the problems we had would make for a longer read than War and Peace so I will summarise below: 1. 13 days without a bath or shower 2. 6 days without a functioning toilet 3. 4 days staying in all day waiting for fitters who did not turn up (including two days taken off work causing loss of earnings) 4. 2 days of raw sewage running down the outside of the house 5. Disadvantages: TOO MANY TO MENTION

...KITCHEN CEILING REPLACED AND REPAINTED, ALL THIS THREE DAYS BEFORE XMAS. THIS WASN'T REPAIRED UNTIL MID JANUARY AND THE BATHROOM HAD TO BE STRIPPED AND RE INSTALLED. THEY DO NOT PAY COMPENSATION ONLY GESTURES OF GOODWILL NOR WILL THEY ADMIT LIABILITY AS THE JOB IS CARRIED OUT BY SUBCONTRACTORS WHO SUBCONTRACT OTHERS (eg ELECTRICIANS ,PLASTERERS etc). ON COMPLETING OUR INSTALLATION OUR INITIAL CONTRACTOR STATED THAT THE GOODS USED BY DOLPHIN WERE VERY POOR QUALITY AND PRICED AT THE WER END OF THE MARKET. BE WARNED DOLPHIN BATHROOMS

...My experience with Dolphin Bathrooms has been a nightmare. My bathroom was redesigned and fitted from 12-19 Feb 2002. To date I have got nowhere with the Customer Service Team, they are not interested, but I wont be giving up They forgot to secure a pipe in the attic properly, so after a few weeks the complete contents of the tank cascaded into my daughters bedroom as the pipe to the tank burst, I have to replace the ceiling in the bedroom, redecorate, buy a new carpet and underlay, buy a new bed, bedding etc etc. IN ADDITION to this, the bathroom has been badly designed. When the shower is used, it runs down the bare plaster walls, and this is bubbling and disintegrating. The toilet and bathroom doors do not close properly after their fitter rehung them. BATHROOMS DIRECT AKA DOLPHIN: DONT GO THERE!!

Advantages: I got mine done quickly by creating merry hell
Disadvantages: most of the 'work' that was carried out

...They came to my home as BATHROOMS DIRECT. We didn't even approach Dolphin as we knew they'd be too expensive. The salesman was extremely good and we agreed to a credit agreement, which we justified as we thought we would get a fantastic bathroom with fantastic customer care, if there was anything we were unhappy about. Problems: The skirting boards start approximately 1.5cm above the floor - why??? We have had to fill and sand the walls before we could paint them. There is plaster cracking above the window. The seal has come away from the bath. I've had to chip plaster away from coving, windows, skirting boards, etc. They didn't bother to plaster behind the toilet. The overflow pipe is not sticking out of the wall. In Summary: I expected that paying the amount of money we have, that our bathroom would be astoundingly beautiful...

...I knew that my bathroom need a "bit" of a clean when a Nic, a student, came to visit me and told me that my bathroom was the mingingest bathroom she had ever seen. Given that we used to share a house and our old bathroom could well have been condemned by Health and safety I was a little taken aback. I took a look and realised that over the course of 6 months the white plastic bath had somehow acquired a layer of dark grey stuff. This stuff was not slimy, not sticky exactly but would not shift-even when I poured bleach on it and let it soak. (apologies for the description but you must know what i was up against.) I bought myself a bottle of flash bathroom gel because it sounded easy to use.
