...What made us pick the Internacional Design Hotel? My partner and I decided to spend a week in Lisbon this summer. Having never been to Portugal before, we thought it would be interesting to see the capital before heading down south to the Algarve for our second week. We knew next to nothing about Lisbon and it was pretty difficult working out exactly where the main centre was. It seemed that most hotels in Lisbon were based in an area that we later found out was the business district, and a pretty long way out, so it took a while to realise this and rule these out. On top of that there seemed to be loads of hotels that were within our price range for this holiday and that got good reviews on trip advisor. Helsinki Design Museum

Advantages: Some interesting pieces
Disadvantages: Price, not much to see

...sThe Helsinki Design Museum was one of the things my sister wanted to go and see rather than me. I wasn?t too bothered at all if I?m honest but I didn?t really mind her dragging me there too much to begin with. The museum is not easy to find though. Before heading there, we stopped off at the tourist information centre to figure out where we were going and exactly how to get there. Even after having a map, we got lost and it should have only been a 10 minute walk away. After nearly 30 minutes, we realised we had no idea where we were going and decided to find help. After asking a local, who explained how to get there, we found it in only a couple of minutes. Instead of walking there from the city centre, you would be better off asking for exact directions or using the buses. Entry to the museum costs ?8 which is not worth it at all...
