...Ah, now I understand. Not applaud, nor even sympathise, but at least I understand what might have led Ciao to take the apparently absurd decision to implement their new design on 9th November 2009. . APPARENTLY ABSURD I say ?apparently absurd?, because the people running Ciao certainly knew the new design was seriously flawed. We know they knew, because it had been briefly installed on the preceding Thursday and Friday, and on each occasion various Ciao members emailed in to point out the deficiencies. What?s more, our emails were acknowledged. For example, on Friday 6th I received the following reply to my email drawing attention to the fact that some bugs hadn?t been eliminated as they had initially claimed: ?Hello, ?You are completely right and we are very sorry for this inconvenience. ?Unfortunately...

...The Design Museum is situated just a few hundred yards from Tower Bridge. I last visited about a year ago so there may have been a few changes since then. The Design museum is a repository for what are considered to be the best , or at least iconic pieces, of twentieth century product design. This includes furniture, tables, chairs, lighting and all manner of interior furnishings. The collection though mostly covering the modernist period does look incredibly dated. Modernism as a style has been around for over a hundred years now, and is fast sliding into a historical period, in fact it already has. When you go to the museum thinking Im going to see the best collection of modern industrially produced furnishings in the country you quickly realise that when you see them all together they are all now museum pieces. Fashion Designer Style Icon

Advantages: Creative and different

...My daughter wanted this for Christmas after seeing loads of advertisements for this on CITV chanel, (advertising obviously works) there is another designer game as well but this one appealed to my daughter more as she said you could do more on this game. This game is very well suited for the Nintendo Ds and a good use of the pen. When you start the game you have 3 blank profiles that you can go into, so either 3 of you can play and save a profile each on either 1, 2 or 3 or if only one of you plays the game you can save 3 different games. ...I remember as a child loving to play with 'cut out dolls'. These were paper dolls who have lots of different outfits which had little tabs which could be folded over the shoulders in order to attach them. In the 'good old days' we used to spend hours meticulously cutting them all out which was quite difficult if you weren't very good at cutting and quite often you ended cutting off at least soem of the tabs if not arms and legs s well. Also as they were only paper they were quite flimsy and were quite liable to tear if you weren't careful! Well the ELC Design and Dress kit is the modern day version of my cut out dolls and I can only marvel at how far things have come in about twenty years.
