In the night garden ninky nonk train set

...I decided to buy the in the night garden ninky nonk train set from Amazon as my young daughter is a big fan of in the night garden and whenever it comes on TV she gets really excited. So as my daughter already had some of the other characters from the show I wanted her to have the whole set and since buying it the train set the ninky nonk train set has become one of her favourite toys to play with on a daily basis. The train set can come apart and be attached on many different ways and my daughter enjoys looking at the nice bright colours and putting some of the other in the night garden characters onto the train set even though it keeps falling of now and again it keeps her busy and sometimes I hear her in fits of giggles. The train set is very cute and versatile and its great as children such as mine can have hours of fun with it...

Advantages: The children love it
Disadvantages: Not great for grownups, irritating songs which get repeated all the time!

...This has been a very welcome addition to my childrens DVD collection from Father Christmas but maybe not my choice! BACKGROUND The night garden is a new show which is shown on the CBeebies chanel. Children of all ages enjoy this show which is set in a magical garden which only appears at night. Characters include Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy, the Pontipines and the Tombliboos. Despite the weird names and the unusual looks of the characters the children seem to be drawn into the show. None of the characters talk properly but the shows are narrated. The DVD contains 5 stories from the popular childrens show. STORIES 1 - Igglepiggle's Blanket in Makka Pakka's Ditch This story starts with us seeing Makka Pakka cleaning his Og-Pog and the items which he keeps on it. A NEW IN THE NIGHT GARDEN DVD. ISN'T THAT A PIP?

Advantages: Enchanting and charming tales for the young ones
Disadvantages: Will be watched over and over andover.....

...Well. As planned My son received the new "in the night garden" DVD entitled "Hello Igglepiggle" courtesy of Nana. To be quite honest, I was quite glad as with all children's dvd, they are played over and over again until we as parents hum the tunes or actually know the words that follow. This dvd still has all the charms of the previous dvd but with differrent stories(hooray). All the main characters are back again but the main one seems to be Igglepiggle. A quick run through of some the new episodes. Igglepiggle's blanket walks about itself: The now famous red blanket is left but is seen in the garden walking around to the amazement of the regulars(and amusement of my son who sees it as a peek a boo finish) simply to find out the Makka Pakka is under it. ...After seeing and finding out for myself how popular the in the night garden TV show on cbeebies had become and how addicted my 2 year old daughter had become with watching the show, at the time I thought it would be a good idea to buy her the character figurines from eBay for around £11.50. When the characters finally come by royal mail my daughter was so excited that she even started singing some of the songs from the show. In the box are 6 popular character figurines from the main TV programme such as Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle, Makka Pakka, and all 3 of the tombliboos, -Un, Oo and Ee. They are made from idestructive plastic that is quite strong and versatile and sure is made to last for a good few years. My daughter loves imaginative play as this was the perfect buy for her and has spent many good hours playing with the figurines...

When Jack was going through his short In the Night Garden phase, i thought i would get him some toys to play with from the rather large collection of merchandise for sale from this programme. I got him far too many things to be honest and this set of smal plastic figurines was just one of many. The pack itself was fairly good value as it was on a sale from the Early Learning Centre, costing around £11. Included in the pack are all the main characters from the programme.
