A bargain or a cheap TV

...A few months back I took my sister off to currys as she wanted a new TV. However, me being me, I came back with a new TV and my sister quite simply didn?t! I came back with the Matsui 2109NS. Now, I wouldn?t normally buy a Matsui television, simply because they are at the cheap end of the market and generally, I believe in you get what you pay for. However, having got a Matsui microwave that?s been going for a good few years and 2 Matsui video recorders which have had no problems, I decided to give it a go. But hang on, why did I come back with a TV and not my sister? Basically, she wants a 14? TV to fit in her flat. The Matsui was sitting on the shelves advertised as the Managers Special for the small sum of £87.95 (small sum for a TV anyway!). ...not have any remote extender facility so if you need to change the channel etc. on your AV equipment you'll need to go into the other room. It does allow selection of all RF channels though. There are buttons on the side of the TV for RF channel selection, volume, TV/AV and Menu, so you can still use it if you can't find the remote. The receiver also has a headphone socket if you want to watch something without disturbing others. The transmitter is small and inobtrusive (9 x 5.5 x 1.5 inch) box that with the right cables could be placed anywhere to give you the best signals. This brings me to the main failing of the device - although the range is quite good and on a par with standard video senders, like all wireless devices, it is very susceptible to local interference. ...I still live with my parents and this is the TV magazine that they buy. I don't see the point in buying another TV magazine just for me. I read this magazine more than I actually watch the television. Due to exams, drama, sign language and ciao I don't watch very much television. However, every now and then I do sit down and watch an episode of Eastenders or Coronation Street, with my mam. I don't need to watch every episode to know what is going on. Apart from the fact that usually nothing much is happening, I can read the TV quick to catch up. TV Quick come out weekly and costs 70p. We get it delivered from our local newsagents with our newspaper. We usually get it on the Tuesday, before the TV listings in the magazine starts. Samsung 32 inch TV

...At first, when I bought this product, I was very happy with it. The picture quality was great, and I liked the sleek look of it. However, now I'm regretting not buying the 37 inch version, as in only a matter of months, the prices of those are below the 32 inch ones. So, I advise anyone buying this to consider buying the 37 inch version. Apart from the size matter, a great television and would recommend it to anyone. I have not had any problems with it, apart from a small one with the remote. The TV also comes with a built in digital tv receiver, so if you do not have Sky TV, this is a good alternative. It is certainly great to play Playstation on, and watch films on, so enjoy!...

32 inch LG tv from Cdiscount

...I ordered a 32inch LG tv from Cdiscount on the 02/04/09 and it arrived today which is the 04/04/09, it really couldn't have been any easier tbh the tracking page kept me updated regularly as to what was happening with my order and the one time I phoned customer service to double check that 3rd Man were legit (after receiving an e-mail requesting more details for security) I was greeted by a lovely lady from N.I. who quickly reassured me that it was normal. Overall i'd definitely use them again and already have this time for a tv stand, quick delivery, a user friendy website, very cheap prices and from my experience great customer service aswell as the excellent 3 payment plan they have going all swayed me. Highly recommend them to anybody....

The unit is a no-frills flat panel TV receiver with external power supply, it features analogue and digital TV tuners, which will receive all Frieeview channels, and has AV input (for camcorders, VCRs or DVDs) as well as a VGA port for attaching as a PC monitor. The ten inch screen sits a little uncomfortably between the 'pocket' and 'standard' sizes of TV, and tend to offer few of the advantages of each howver it DOES let you 'follow' a programme from two rooms. There's no facility to insert a 'CAM' module, so you're denied the opportunity to use Top-Up TV. Construction and build quality is a little 'plasticy' - the casing is sprayed silver, and shows no indication of being able to sustain 'hard...

Nine inch nails by the numbers

Advantages: clever, some good tracks, good sound manipulation

...Having been a huge nine inch nails fan since the Pretty Hate Machine album in some ways i really feel like i have to like this album as it is a monumental acheivement but when it comes down to it, it's going to be one of those albums that i want to like but i'm never going to listen to. Basically this is because it's dull. For how long can Trent Reznor keep on producing this kind of 'nine inch nails by the numbers' music, it seems to have come down to some kind of formula on this album. It also occurs to me that this world of misery and self abuse that he would like to make out that he lives in is starting to wear a little thin by now.
