Indesit Baan 12s fridge freezer

Advantages: Very good price, attractive frost free fridge freezer
Disadvantages: Rust appeared quickly, broke down after 3 years

...I bought the Indesit frost free freezer after moving house, the price was very reasonable at £229.00. The capacity of the fridge freezer is good it's fine for a family of three and my sister also has one and does okay with a family of five. The applicance is very quiet and aesthetically pleasing. There are 3 glass shelves plus 2 salad boxes which are pretty deep. There are also 3 freezer boxes with a fast freeze plus ice cube trays built into them which I must admit I hardly used. The fridge freezer was frost free and I've only had to defrost it myself once in three years which is good going, the fridge always worked very well and kept food nice and fresh, it was also very easy to keep clean. The downside was rust appeared on the inner seals pretty quickly probably within the first year. The door also dents very easily...

Indesit WD12 Bargain Buster!!!!

Advantages: quiet, durable, easy to use, 20 programmes in total, cost effective, energy saving, bargain price

...I moved into my flat 5 years ago where i had a built in washing machine which was truly horrific despite being brand new the drum was dented and made the most horrific noise which i could live with but being on the 2nd floor my neighbours really couldnt. I decided it was really time to upgrade and due to lack of space and already having a superb tumble dryer i decided it was time to invest in an integrated washer dryer despite everyone trying to convince me otherwise based on the fact that if one part fails they both fail. I shopped around for truly ages and decided upon the indesit 12x as my faithful tumble dryer was the same make. I truly can not personally fault indesit they have never failed me yet!!! The indesit WD12 is definately by far in my opinion a market leader with no vent required and no condenser this machine...

...After 18 months my WD12X Indesit washing machine gave up the ghost, a repairman came, took one look at it, and said, it's an Indesit, they're always going wrong, it's not worth repairing. Searching on the web rapidly confirmed that indeed Indesit washing machines are always going wrong. To add insult to injury, my Indesit cooker (also 18 months old) went wrong the same week, which cost £60 to repair, and my Indesit diswasher is giving me cause for concern too. Indesit offered the usual fob off excuses you would expect, and in short showed no concern for the fact their machines break down so shortly after the guarantee expires. My advice, avoid Indesit like the bubonic plague, their machines are a waste of money....

...It's very hard to get excited about a fridge freezer it really is. This review could be the shortest on record if I just said that the fridge chills food and the freezer, guess what, freezes food. I will go on however and tell you all about my Indesit BAAN 12, the beautiful white goddess that now stands in the corner of my kitchen. It cost me £249.99 from Argos and I consider this a fair price for a fride freezer. I had expected to pay upwards of £300. For you rmoney you get a fridge freezer that falls into energy efficiency class 'A+', that stands 175cm tall, 60cm wide and 65.5cm deep. Like most models, the door opens from the left to right. The fridge has 5 shelves, a veg crisper tray, an egg rack and within the door compartment 3 bottle sections of varying sizes. If you like to store a lot of wine like me you'll find that...

The Indesit SIXL145S: Once in a Blue Moon

Two and a Half Years with WD12

Advantages: Fast Spin Speed and reasonably efficient

Mind you the plastic door handle got a lot of pulling from a lot of people so I do not hold my mother in law to blame. If you are thinking of buying then this is a concern because you cannot use the machine when it breaks in this way. There is also a chance something important will get stuck inside, so read on. The Repair I did not buy the extended warranty so had two choices: repair it myself or get the repair man out. The door handle is completely mechanical and so I chose to do the repair. Customer support on the web is quite good. Type Indesit in Google and it is at the top of the list of results. I wish that was the case for other manufacturers...
