...We were looking for a stand alone tumble drier as our combined washer/drier did not dry clothes very well and as we live in a flat with no outdoors drying space we need to be able to dry our clothes without them hanging round the spare room, making it look like a launderette. We stumbles accross the Indesit IS70CS in B&Q. We were mooching around looking for paint. At the time they were offering 20% off the ticket price. We went home and checked out the prices on various price comparson web sites (incl this one) and we found the B&Q price very cheap. So we headed straight back to shop and bought it. Indesit WD12 Washer/dryer - Great machine!

IS70C Indesit Tumble Dryer

Advantages: Excellent value for money, huge drum, easy to empty water drawer
Disadvantages: Sometimes can be a litlle noisy

It is very efficient and I am completely amazed at the amount of fluff and water that it collects! Luckily the fluff filter is a good size and water drawer holds several kilos of water. If you are not very good at remembering to empty the water drawer don't worry there is a 'drawer full indicator light' to remind you. The door opens and closes well and the timer is easily set. The drum is huge and will accommodate several bath towels or king-size bedding easily. As it is a reverse action drum clothes won't get tangled in one another, which helps to save time when you are folding and putting away dried washing. ...We have owned this product for a couple of weeks now and it has been an absolute dream. We were hesitant to buy a condensor dryer given that it uses more electricity than the standard models but in the end felt that we would rather face larger operating costs than have the inconvenience of finding a route for the exhaust of a standard dryer. We have been bowled over by the performance of the machine in drying it is very effective. It couldn't be simpler to use; although we might have sited it better as the door mechanism makes it very easy for our five year old to inadvertantly open the door whilst it is in operation. This might make this a poor choice for those with toddlers - particularly in the early stages of walking when they grasp for anything in reach! Indesit WIDL 126 S washer/dryer

Advantages: Cheap, looks good, combined washer/dryer
Disadvantages: VERY noisy when spinning

...This is the second machine I have bought, the other we left in our old house for our tenants. We bought it because A: we wanted a silver machine B: we wanted a washer dryer and C: it was cheap. The machine looks good and is very functional. It has special sports/shoe washes etc but I have never used them. There is a short everyday wash but I use the standard cotton wash at 40 degrees which takes about an hour. The dryer takes a long time but I have nothing to compare it too but it does the job when necessary. Now the big downside is that when is spins is sounds like it is about to take off and is very noisy so not ideal if you have guests or are trying to watch tv unless you have a utility room miles away. For the price I think it is a great product and so far so good....

Indesit Baan 12s fridge freezer

Advantages: Very good price, attractive frost free fridge freezer
Disadvantages: Rust appeared quickly, broke down after 3 years

...I bought the Indesit frost free freezer after moving house, the price was very reasonable at £229.00. The capacity of the fridge freezer is good it's fine for a family of three and my sister also has one and does okay with a family of five. The applicance is very quiet and aesthetically pleasing. There are 3 glass shelves plus 2 salad boxes which are pretty deep. There are also 3 freezer boxes with a fast freeze plus ice cube trays built into them which I must admit I hardly used. The fridge freezer was frost free and I've only had to defrost it myself once in three years which is good going, the fridge always worked very well and kept food nice and fresh, it was also very easy to keep clean. The downside was rust appeared on the inner seals pretty quickly probably within the first year. The door also dents very easily...

Advantages: the indesit IS70C is lightweight and extremely quiet when on. It holds a massive 7kg of clothes

...I decided a few months ago due to having electric heaters than i need a tumble drier to dry my laundry being in a top floor flat. I shopped around for a good three days looking for a condenser tumble dryer that was excellent value for money which provided a machine that had a large capacity and was easy to use. I stumbled across the indesit IS70C which was everything i was looking for. It was simple to use, extremely quiet and had a massive 7kg clothes capacity and an amazing 5kg water condenser capacity.
