Indesit washing machine

...I bought an Indesit washing machine over 8 years ago. I thought it was an excellent product. I used it 2 sometimes 3 times a day almost every day and never ever had any problems with it at all. It had a very good spin speed on it, which spun the clothes to almost dry. Unfortunately, about 6 weeks ago it just died on me. AAArrgggh! The engineer was called and came out very promptly, but to get it fixed was going to cost too much. So off I go in search of a new washing machine. I arrived at my local electrical store and low and behold there was an Indesit washing machine, on the Managers special offer! I paid £185 for my new Indesit, which I think is a very good price. The Indesit SIXL145S: Once in a Blue Moon

Advantages: Great machine!
Disadvantages: If used improperly may leave you're kitchen floor covered in detergent

Indesit WIA 121 A Good Washing Machine!

Advantages: Good value for money, good quality, ideal for everyday family use
Disadvantages: Loud spin function

...I think that I am a pretty old fashioned type of gal. When I buy something I like to think that it will last for a life time or at the very least give father time a run for his money. I realise that white goods these day don't fall in that category but the Indesit WIA121 isn't too bad. My previous washing machine also an Indesit lasted for 7years and bearing in mind that it spent most of it washing life in Streatham an area known for very hard water I though that replacing it with the same model might be a good idea. The washing Machine business has moved on a great deal in 7 to 8 years and being a new Mum I was very much tempted to up grade to a washer dryer but I figured that it would do one job really well and the other so so or just do both jobs so so! ...After 18 months my WD12X Indesit washing machine gave up the ghost, a repairman came, took one look at it, and said, it's an Indesit, they're always going wrong, it's not worth repairing. Searching on the web rapidly confirmed that indeed Indesit washing machines are always going wrong. To add insult to injury, my Indesit cooker (also 18 months old) went wrong the same week, which cost £60 to repair, and my Indesit diswasher is giving me cause for concern too. Indesit offered the usual fob off excuses you would expect, and in short showed no concern for the fact their machines break down so shortly after the guarantee expires. My advice, avoid Indesit like the bubonic plague, their machines are a waste of money....

Indesit WD12 Bargain Buster!!!!

Advantages: quiet, durable, easy to use, 20 programmes in total, cost effective, energy saving, bargain price

...I moved into my flat 5 years ago where i had a built in washing machine which was truly horrific despite being brand new the drum was dented and made the most horrific noise which i could live with but being on the 2nd floor my neighbours really couldnt. I decided it was really time to upgrade and due to lack of space and already having a superb tumble dryer i decided it was time to invest in an integrated washer dryer despite everyone trying to convince me otherwise based on the fact that if one part fails they both fail. I shopped around for truly ages and decided upon the indesit 12x as my faithful tumble dryer was the same make. I truly can not personally fault indesit they have never failed me yet!!! The indesit WD12 is definately by far in my opinion a market leader with no vent required and no condenser this machine...

Indesit IS70C scored Gold!

Advantages: the indesit IS70C is lightweight and extremely quiet when on. It holds a massive 7kg of clothes
Disadvantages: The indesit IS70C has really no disadvantages other than the fact it is only energy efficient C

I shopped around for a good three days looking for a condenser tumble dryer that was excellent value for money which provided a machine that had a large capacity and was easy to use. I stumbled across the indesit IS70C which was everything i was looking for. It was simple to use, extremely quiet and had a massive 7kg clothes capacity and an amazing 5kg water condenser capacity. Indesit WE16 Evolution washing machine

...had this machine 6 years now, used at least once maybe twice a week never had any problems with it, excellent wash results and with a 1600 spin clothes are only just damp. We find this machine extremely easy to use, the program selections are clearly displayed on the detergent drawer front, and the dial selector for the digital information is simple to use. Minor adjustments to each washing cycle can be made by altering the information on the display prior to the wash starting. a really useful function is the 'time remaining' display during each program. i suppose if i really had to make a negative comment it would be that the a rated program is lengthy at approximately 2.5 hrs. i really do not understand why there are so many complaints about it???? We also have the matching dishwasher too - again faultless. We look after ours!!...
