Indesit washing machine

...I bought an Indesit washing machine over 8 years ago. I thought it was an excellent product. I used it 2 sometimes 3 times a day almost every day and never ever had any problems with it at all. It had a very good spin speed on it, which spun the clothes to almost dry. Unfortunately, about 6 weeks ago it just died on me. AAArrgggh! The engineer was called and came out very promptly, but to get it fixed was going to cost too much. So off I go in search of a new washing machine. I arrived at my local electrical store and low and behold there was an Indesit washing machine, on the Managers special offer! I paid £185 for my new Indesit, which I think is a very good price. The Indesit WG1432 has 16 programs, it has a half load button if you only have a few items to wash. You can reduce the spin speed from 1400rpm to just 600rpm. This...

The Indesit SIXL145S: Once in a Blue Moon

Advantages: Great machine!
Disadvantages: If used improperly may leave you're kitchen floor covered in detergent

...When the old family washing machine finally packed up after a good 9 year run (R.I.P) it was time to time to turn our attention towards getting a new machine to live up to the old one's speeds, reliability and general performance. Indesit WIA 121 A Good Washing Machine!

Advantages: Good value for money, good quality, ideal for everyday family use
Disadvantages: Loud spin function

...I think that I am a pretty old fashioned type of gal. When I buy something I like to think that it will last for a life time or at the very least give father time a run for his money. I realise that white goods these day don't fall in that category but the Indesit WIA121 isn't too bad. My previous washing machine also an Indesit lasted for 7years and bearing in mind that it spent most of it washing life in Streatham an area known for very hard water I though that replacing it with the same model might be a good idea. The washing Machine business has moved on a great deal in 7 to 8 years and being a new Mum I was very much tempted to up grade to a washer dryer but I figured that it would do one job really well and the other so so or just do both jobs so so! Indesit Baan 12s fridge freezer

Advantages: Very good price, attractive frost free fridge freezer
Disadvantages: Rust appeared quickly, broke down after 3 years

...I bought the Indesit frost free freezer after moving house, the price was very reasonable at £229.00. The capacity of the fridge freezer is good it's fine for a family of three and my sister also has one and does okay with a family of five. The applicance is very quiet and aesthetically pleasing. There are 3 glass shelves plus 2 salad boxes which are pretty deep. There are also 3 freezer boxes with a fast freeze plus ice cube trays built into them which I must admit I hardly used. The fridge freezer was frost free and I've only had to defrost it myself once in three years which is good going, the fridge always worked very well and kept food nice and fresh, it was also very easy to keep clean. The downside was rust appeared on the inner seals pretty quickly probably within the first year. The door also dents very easily...

Indesit IS70C scored Gold!

Advantages: the indesit IS70C is lightweight and extremely quiet when on. It holds a massive 7kg of clothes
Disadvantages: The indesit IS70C has really no disadvantages other than the fact it is only energy efficient C

I shopped around for a good three days looking for a condenser tumble dryer that was excellent value for money which provided a machine that had a large capacity and was easy to use. I stumbled across the indesit IS70C which was everything i was looking for. It was simple to use, extremely quiet and had a massive 7kg clothes capacity and an amazing 5kg water condenser capacity. ...After 18 months my WD12X Indesit washing machine gave up the ghost, a repairman came, took one look at it, and said, it's an Indesit, they're always going wrong, it's not worth repairing. Searching on the web rapidly confirmed that indeed Indesit washing machines are always going wrong. To add insult to injury, my Indesit cooker (also 18 months old) went wrong the same week, which cost £60 to repair, and my Indesit diswasher is giving me cause for concern too. Indesit offered the usual fob off excuses you would expect, and in short showed no concern for the fact their machines break down so shortly after the guarantee expires. My advice, avoid Indesit like the bubonic plague, their machines are a waste of money....

...I moved into my flat 5 years ago where i had a built in washing machine which was truly horrific despite being brand new the drum was dented and made the most horrific noise which i could live with but being on the 2nd floor my neighbours really couldnt. I decided it was really time to upgrade and due to lack of space and already having a superb tumble dryer i decided it was time to invest in an integrated washer dryer despite everyone trying to convince me otherwise based on the fact that if one part fails they both fail. I shopped around for truly ages and decided upon the indesit 12x as my faithful tumble dryer was the same make. I truly can not personally fault indesit they have never failed me yet!!! The indesit WD12 is definately by far in my opinion a market leader with no vent required and no condenser this machine...
