For many years India had just two airline, both state-run: Air India, who did the international flying, and Indian Airlines who did the domestic flights. This resembled the old days in the UK where BOAC flew longhaul and BEA flew within Europe. The British government realised this wasn't working back in the 1970s, but it continues in India today. The lines are a bit blurred, as Indian Airlines does now fly some international routes, to the Middle East and to the Far East, and Air India operates some domestic routes. Indian Platter food, great with a curry!

...I am a huge fan of Indian food and when I saw these advertised on TV I just knew that I had to try them! I purchased the 75 piece Indian Platter box for £5.00 and inside I received 25 vegetable samosas, 25 vegetable pakoras and 25 onion bhajis. There were also two dips in the form of mango chutney & spicy tomato and onion. The dips were quite small and I actually got some more mango chutney from the fridge and also had a small pot of barbeque sauce as I love barbeque sauce with everything! I opened the three bags containing the food and then emptied them out on to a baking tray (no platter tray provided). I cooked them for around 18 minutes on gas mark 6 until they were hot throughout and slightly darker in colour. The vegetables in the three bites were very crunchy and tasty and they very filled up just the right amount so that...

...With a growing interest in cooking and after buying Madhur Jaffrey's Ultimate Curry Bible, this book was recommended to me. At first sight this book doesn't look very interesting as it's just a small paperback with no photographs inside. It is a fairly cheap book and didn't look all that great but I thought I would give it a try. The book is written by Laxmi Khurana, who is an Indian housewife living in Britain. ...British West Indian Airlines, also known as BWIA, also known as BWee, are an airline operating out of the West Indies serving 21 destinations, including London, Toronto, New York, Barbados and Caracas. They operate a daily flight between London Heathrow and Trinidad. They also run domestic routes within the Caribbean, but only a limited service here, like in between the main islands - Antigua and Barbados. They do have a reasonably large fleet, sporting an all-new livery, but I'm afraid I can't find out how many 'planes they have. Ordering Tickets... ...It's been ages since I wrote my last tea review. No I haven't stopped drinking tea, just been sticking to the normal stuff recently. However, now summer has got into full swing, I like to try a few new flavours out, this one is Lipton Indian Spice. The Box ********** 20 Tea Bags in this 36g box, making a each bag 1.8g in weight, that's a little bit less than the usual 2g bags. I wonder if adding all those .2g's up, Lipton make a little extra profit. Anyway, the box is your usual 20 bag box, with a flip lid and a hole in the top so you can see how many are left without opening it. It'sa sort of purply red colour, and an Indian cloth design on the front and top. The Lipton logo and the words Indian Spice are prominently displayed on the top and front too. The bottom tells you that the ingredients are 98% tea, and 2% red fruits...
