...After seeing the seemingly constant adverts for the Nintendo wii in the weeks leading up to the Christmas of 2007, I decided that I simply had to have one and it was top of my Christmas list! Thankfully, not only did we manage to get one with all the sold out signs that were appearing in Game, we also won one so technically got ours for free as we sold the one we won! Therefore, we first discovered wii sports on Christmas day 2007. What is it? It is a collection of five games, each a different sport that tries to simulate it so that you feel as though you are actually playing the sport. Each makes good use of the wii remote, although some also require a nunchuck. You will have to take care during using this game, there have been a lot of accidents reported to do with the wii and its remote, such as not using the wrist strap properly...

Birmingham Indoor Markets

Disadvantages: Never feeling happy again about paying Supermarket Prices

...If 3 years ago you told me I would be happy to jump on a bus, travel into Birmingham in order to by some meat I would have laughed in your face. Anybody who lives in or near Birmingham will know of the massive developements taking place in the Bull Ring in order to renovate the city centre and areas of Digbeth. The first part of the regeneration was the opening of the new indoor markets. They sell absolutely everything, clothes, stationary, mobile phones, sweets, and of course food. There is a very cheap multi story car park above the markets (50 pence per hour)which is normally enough time to get your provisions in, although most bus routes now stop near the markets. Meat and Fish are available from around 30-40 independant market traders and is all at least half the price of Sainsburys and around 4 days fresher...

Leo is very much like our other cat, as he, too, is scared of birds and believes that the fact that "horrid things" can hover over his head is quite clearly "A Bad Thing." A problem for indoor cats is that they do not have the opportunity to go out and nibble on inviting fresh greenery in the great outdoors. Prize plants, apparently toxic weeds, you know the sort of things I mean! A very real and trying problem for indoor cats is that they can (especially if they are long haired as both of ours are) suffer very badly with hairballs. And whilst there might be something less pleasant than waking up to finding your bare foot on something...

Wii sports resort with motion plus!

Advantages: A great game which has some good multiplayer options!!
Disadvantages: A little pricey with an RRP of £50.

...Wii Sports Resort This is a new game which was introduced last year to bring in the new Nintendo Wii controller adapters the Wii Motion plus which gives more control over the movement in the Wii games which are played on the console. The game Wii Sports resort is a second game to the original Wii Sports game, which came with most of the Wii consoles when they first came out, in fact they may have come with all the Wii consoles! Wii Sport resort comes with one controller adapter, which isn?t much good considering a lot of the games are two player?some of which can ONLY be played two player! The game itself though is great value for money, it has an RRP of £49.99, this is for the game and the controller adapter (see my review previous to this on the controller itself!), but of course prices vary depending on where you shop...

Just underneath this is one of the main reasons I watch this channel all the time and a fantastic feature with the channel - the breaking news bar where you are treated to the latest transfers...
