Infocus Lite Pro 425 Projector

...The Infocus Lite Pro 425 is a LCD projector designed to display computer images onto a screen or wall. Its compact size shows that it has been built with portability in mind. This projector was purchased about 3 years ago by the company I work for. The projector cost about £1400 and at the time and it was a pretty high specification machine. The projector can display a maximum computer resolution of 800x600 and this is in 24bit colour. Although this is still acceptable, the resolution is perhaps a little low by today?s standards. The Infocus X3 is the perfect family investment, for films or PC

Advantages: Simple to use, long lamp life
Disadvantages: Quite noisy fan, regular filter cleaning needed

...The X3 projector is a great projector for family use, especially for DVDs and home cinema. The lamp use is excellent but I had to be careful to always clean the filter to maximise the lamp life as lamps are very expensive. In my opinion, the X3 is very easy to use, and has easy installation onto any surface (even a wall) for projection with little space needed. The main concern when I bought this projector was whether it would be of good quality, and it has the standards needed for any video requirements. I wouldn't recommend this to gamers as such as it isn't as good for gaming systems, but still works fine. However, the use of it with a PC or Laptop is great, especially when you are wanting to use your desktop, video conference or simply view the screen....

Really BIG lava lamp.

Advantages: Huge. Soothing. Good value.
Disadvantages: Takes forever to heat up.

...A lava lamp is, in principle, very simple. It consists of a lamp, which heats up a glass bulb filled with a waxy solid and a liquid. These cannot mix together and must have very similar densities. As the solid heats up, its density is lowered, so it rises. This cools it down and it then falls to the bottom of the lamp, creating a strangely soothing effect. In practice, making one yourself would involve messing about with expensive and perhaps flammable chemicals, so I wouldn't bother trying. It is much easier just to buy one yourself. The Giant Grande Lava Lamp comes in two colours yellow and blue or yellow and violet. It is truly enormous at 27" and is guaranteed to be a focal point in your room. Review of Giant Grande Lava Lamp

Looking for a Projector look no further!

Advantages: Adjustible lens, compatible with DVD players, Playstation, Laptops etc
Disadvantages: None that i could think of

...The In focus LP640 Projector is brilliant. I purchased the product a year ago and it has never given me any problems that includes setting it up. It can be used with any movie playing technology e.g, Camcorders, DVD players, Laptops, Consoles etc. i personally use it to watch movies and play playstation 2,3 games on it. All in all it's a really good product in my opinion and if anyone is looking for a good projector for personal use i would definitely recommend this product. If you want a good tip to go with the product its a surround system of any type then you will have your own cinema in your own bedroom with bed side seat VIP. Playing football games is the best because its as if you are ina real stadium it boosts your game play up and the fans sound great....

I LOVE LAMP!

Advantages: Hilarious, quotable script and great performances
Disadvantages: A bit weird and silly for some

The film starts off as a standard 70s pastiche with some nice one-liners, but by the end it's an all-out comedy which rivals any in terms of the jokes-to-laughs ratio - a very important factor. The funniest character is not actually Burgundy, but in fact the scene stealing Steve Carell as Brick, the weather guy. People like him because he's "polite and rarely late", and he comes out with some of the funniest and most random lines, such as "I ate a big red candle", "I love lamp" and "Where'd you get those suits, the toilet store?". Carell is one of my favourite comic actors, and he's without doubt the best thing about this film. ...I have used this Sony Projector for over 3 years. It is very light, compact and easy to use. It comes in a canvas carry case with shoulder strap. The projector itself folds up in to a compact carry case. The front cover folds over with a handle and locks so it can be carried like a mini briefcase. The control functions are on top of the projector. There is a row of buttons on the front, Power,Input,APA, and volume control. On the right are buttons for reset,menu,arrow keys and enter.
