...I purchased the Nintendo Wii after weeks of searching the internet for a shop that hadnt sold out and once i found one available i bought it immediately. The package came with Wii sports and a remote controller and i have to say that i was quite impressed. The controllers work well with the console and in particular with wii sports. The biggest issue that i have with the remote is the battery issue. Whilst the batteries do last a long time when installed, to keep replacing them costs a fortune. I also have had this problem with my xbox 360 wireless controllers and would recommend anybody who was buying the controllers to also consider a quick charge kit to accompany it. The unit is very responsive and works very well, this depends on where you put the sensor that is supplied with the wii so make sure that you read the manual carefully...

Canon RC shutter release

...If you didn't get one of these with your Canon, and are serious about photography then it really is a must have. The good thing about this remote is it's dual function, not only will it allow you to perform a shutter release but it will also allow you to take advantage of a 2 second timer function; without having to return to the camera. Canon have also made the RC5 remote, which, whilst it is slightly bigger and a little more comfortable to use, doesn't give you the option to pick between timer delay, and simple shutter release. This remote will easily give you a good 5M range, although I tend to use mine standing next to the camera when it's mounted on a tripod, simply to remove as much camera shake as I can. Obviously the windy weather can also contribute to camera shake, but I dont think they have invented a remote...

...First of all id like to mention that the remote is rather overpriced for what it is. Priced at £19 the apple remote, when in use with the apple universal dock, lets you control your ipod, by giving you the option to play/pause, fast forward, rewind, skip forward, and skip backwards. If you hold down the play/pause button on the remote it will switch your ipod off (just like on the ipod wheel itself). The remote works from a very long distance, and most directions, in fact the fact that the remote works from such a long distance away, and the most awquard angles impresses me quite a bit. I purchased my remote brand new off ebay for £8 plus £2.50 delievery which is quite a nice saving rather than buying it in the shops for £19. ...This is an absolutely great remote given it's cost. I used to have an One for All Kameleon which cost a lot more money than this. Setup was very very easy using the Software given and within 30 minutes I had a remote control which did exactly what I wanted. I use this to control my TV, Amplifier, BluRay DVD, Xbox 360 and Virgin Media Box. Every function of each device is catered for on the remote and the ability for the remote to transmit to more than 1 device at a time without having to switch any settings on it is fantastic. There are a couple of downsides to this remote. The first is the screen is very small in comparison to some others and scrolling through the pages to get to some of the more unique features of a device can be a pain, but overall this is great and well worth the investment...
