Advantages: A film to get your teeth into.

...of the CIA. It's a thriller and love story all wrapped up in such a way that its appeal would stretch from late teens right through to the elderly seeking a challenge to watch. Words that describe this film to me ? Intelligent, sometimes ironic, sometimes testing human stamina, but always enjoyable. 110 minutes of thrill and wonder. Take a look. It may be two years old, but it equals if not surpasses many films which have more hype and perhaps better advertising. Bought on Amazon.com for as little at seven pounds, this really is a bargain and one that will stay on the shelf for a further viewing. PG13 though I would question whether a child of 13 would fully appreciate the integrity of the film. An adult audience would suit it better. Enjoy....

Run, Simon Pegg's Integrity, Run!

...Just when you thought Simon Pegg's ego couldn't get any more inflated, he releases this steaming pile of dogsnot. Granted that his work is not usually lowbrow, Run Fatboy Run has no comedic merit whatsoever, includes no new ideas or concepts and is just downright not funny. Pegg has made and starred in some excellent shows and films in the past. His work on the modern, surrealist, European sketch-show Big Train gave new depth to english comedy. Shaun of the Dead spoofed the zombie genre before anyone else had chance to, Spaced was simply incredible, even his short performance in Black Books alongside Dylan Moran was hilarious. His integrity was visibly in decline after Hot Fuzz, a comedy film which seemingly TRIED to be crap! ...still this is the worst thing yet. Dylan Moran's performance was also poor in this film, It was a novelty...

...Indeed, integrity in a music magazine is a rare virtue nowadays - this is why I rate Terrorizer so highly. It was about 3 years ago that I stumbled upon this magazine and I've bought every issue since. Terrorizer is a magazine dedicated to underground music (metal, industrial, punk, noise, hardcore etc) from around the world. Unlike the other rock and metal magazines they don't unquestioningly embrace the latest flavour-of-the-month band, and they don't have sponsorship of their review sections (a highly questionable practise). I am constantly amazed at the in-depth knowledge of the journalists, interviews with artists are usually very interesting because they transcend the usual "what is your favourite colour" style of interveiw in the more mainstream rock magazines. Instead there is a real feeling that the artist...

Advantages: Fast-paced, believable characters, very well-written
Disadvantages: A little melodramatic in places

I suppose the book would be classed as a psychological thriller. The first time I read it there were places where I felt very tense as well as places where I was utterly shocked, and after the first few chapters it was almost impossible to put down! Reading it again recently - despite knowing what was coming - I still found it gripping...

...?A Question of Integrity? was the original title of the book that is now ?The Wonder Worker? by Susan Howatch and forms part of a trilogy, set in and around St. Benet?s Healing Centre, a centre for Christian spiritual healing in London?s square mile. I had already read ?The Heartbreaker? which is in fact the final book in the trilogy, but I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to read the other two books in the series. This book is the first. Set in the early 1990s, the book tells a remarkable story through the eyes of four of the main characters, each of whom narrate a section of the book.
