My New Tumble Dryer Balls

Dryer Balls tumble around with your clothing as it is drying, they lift and separate the clothes as they dry thus reduce the static build up and the little nodules on the balls massage the fibres of your clothing making them softer and fluffier. My Findings When I first opened the Dyer Balls and took them from the packet I was really quite surprised at how hard and solid they felt, I had imagined them to be soft, this made me very nervous at the thought of putting them in the dryer with my washing, I thought I might be opening up the dryer to find my washing all ripped up! Nevertheless I was intrigued to find out what these balls could do for my washing, so the first time I used them I decided to put them in with 3 pairs of jeans. FANCY A QUICK TUMBLE...

Advantages: No need for a vent. Dries laundry well and has a sensor.
Disadvantages: Generates a lot of heat. Not the most compact model in the world.

It?s good to make a habit of emptying this after every wash because if it gets too full it WILL flood your kitchen. Unlike vented tumble dryers, the water out of your clothes collects in the water tank and doesn?t go outside. ANTI-TANGLE ~~ The drum tumbles one way and then the other so that your clothes don?t get all tangled up in the dryer ~ this makes them easier to remove from the dryer and also easier to iron because they aren?t all wound up together. Creda T520VW tumble dryer

Advantages: Easy to use, looks good, wont break the bank

...The T520 VW is a great tumble dryer. It is incredibly easy to use, with only one button and one "clock like" dial. The single button is used to select low or high heat.....and the rotating "clock like" dial to select the time desired for drying. ( Time goes from 0 to 120 mins). It is quiet, and has a reasonably large capacity and also boasts an "anti-tangle"claim. The white plastic fascia near the top of the dryer that houses the button and dial hasn't appeared to have discoloured over time....(unlike our washing machine which we've had for the same amount of time), and with the word "simplicity" embellished next to the creda logo, it really does sum up this item for itself. Simple to use, reasonably modern looking, won't discolour, and would easily fit into anyones kitchen or utility room or anywhere around the house for that matter...

Advantages: Does what it says on the tin. Almost a quarter of the price of the "named" brand.
Disadvantages: Nothing of any note. The box is not as robust as its more famous counterpart.

Advantages: It dries wet washing!
Disadvantages: The reverse tumble doesn't work on everything

...can be awkward to clean, but I use the long slim nozzle attachment of my vacuum cleaner, and follow up with a damp cloth on the end of a stick to get at the awkward bits (high tech, eh?)
