Celeron 533mhz - not recomended
Advantages: Cheap processor
Disadvantages: Slow, small cache,
...I have mixed experiences with these processors, In comparison to AMD's chips, Im afraid Celeron processors do not compare.
My AMD K6-2/450 which worked without fault, was sold and replaced with a Celeron 533Mhz which at the time was of similar cost. Celeron processors were at the time rated quite highly however in comparison to AMD's 450, Graphical benchmarks, Gameplay, High Quality Video files, processor benchmarks all showed a great deal of a decrease in performance with the celeron.
The Celeron runs on a 66mhz bus speed which greatly reduces performance in comparison to processors running at 100mhz bus.
Celeron processors are known for thier ability to be overclocked which can greatly improve performance however this greatly dependant on which mainboard you choose.
Increasing the Memory from 64mb to 128mb made...

THE INTEL PROCESSOR.
Advantages: HAS FAST PROCESSING ABILITIES.
Disadvantages: : THE FAN CAUSES NOISE.
...processor but before I do that, I would make use of this one for some time.
The Intel Pentium 4.30ghz socket 775 CPU has hyper technology in it and this makes it a very advanced processor. The little problem with the processor is that it is capable of making too much noise while functioning.
It comes in an orange packed colour with blues stripe at the edge of it. It also has heat stick fan for cooling the temperature down.
In terms of durability, it is very durable and strong. It also comes with 1mb installed size of L2 cahe.
Lets take a look at the product features. It comes with a clock speed of 3hz and with bus speed of 800mhz. It also has compatible socket of LGA775 and 16kb cahe level size. It has 84w thermal designs with 90mn manufacturing process. In terms of recommendations, I will recommend this because of its...

THE INTEL PROCESSOR.
Advantages: VERY HIGH SPEED IN PROCESSING
Disadvantages: : MAKES NOISE.
...and still looking up for more services. So I don't think of finding another substitute or replacements for it sooner.
In terms of recommendations, I will recommend this strongly to friends with all assurance of good performances.
The Intel Pentium 4 comes in advanced features like the clock speed that is 3GHZ with bus speed of 800MHZ. It has compatible processor socket of LGA775 socket 16 KB cache level size. It has 84 w thermal designs with 90mn manufacturing process.
Architecture feature is of the hyper- threading tech and streaming simd extensions 3, execute disable bit capability.
It also has 1mb installed size L2 cache and with miscellaneous package type of Intel boxed, Intel boxed (BTX type)
So these are the features with the Intel processor so I will recommend this to people and I hope that my review will be helpful to...

Celeron II - A gone wrong PIII
Advantages: Pretty fast, PIII core
Disadvantages: Not cheap in budget terms
...The bosses at Intel have finally decided that they cant waste any processors any more. Its takes too much money and time in the industry to manufacture too many chips because they dont have many fabrication plants to do the job. Basically they had to find a way to make lots of different chips very quickly.
Well here's the clever part. The Celeron II (not official name) is simply a PIII, well I say simply a PIII but that's what they are. Only difference is they are faulty PIII's. Not faulty as in they don't work, but faulty as in half of the 256k cache doesn't work. All Intel have done to these chips is disable the bad half of the cache and there you have a shiny new Celeron II. Not bad eh?
Needless to say that then the Celeron II has a good leg to stand on as a budget chip. The core performance of the PIII is there in...

Intel Xeon The Best Server Processor!
Advantages: Fast, Cheap, Stable
Disadvantages: Nothing
...1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from store. Pros: Excellent performance per watt. I'll be using these processors in a machine that will be doing a lot of video compression and 3D modeling, which are some of the applications that Intel processors are better suited for than A M D's (comparing the Clover town X e o n to the Barcelona O p t e r o n). I like A M D's C P U s too, but I n t e l s are the better tool for these jobs. Cons: None so far, but there is a caveat that purchasers should be aware of. The LGA771 socket requires a special case that accommodates the heat sink for the processors. The LGA771 specs require that the heat sink be attached directly to the case instead of the motherboard. And so the case needs a special set of standoffs or a mounting plate for the heat sink to screw onto. Intel says the case...

Celeron 600e = 9.0x Multiplier
Advantages: Very Overclockable
Disadvantages: Small cahce
...A 9.0x multiplier is about as far as you can go with a Celeron to acheive the much respected 100Mhz FSB and therefore acheive 900Mhz in the case of the Celeron 2 600e.
DO NOT BUY A CELERON 2 633, 667 OR 700 IF YOU WANT TO OVERCLOCK THEM 100MHZ FSB. Their multipliers are too high unless you are going to liquid cool them!!!
It has to be said that the 0.18 micron die etch has been a god send for overclocking but when the multiplier starts to get silly, atainable overclocking on a locked bus is crazy, hence my suggested max of a Celeron 600e if you're thinking of clocking your new Celeron....

Celeron Or PIII
Advantages: Cheap,reliable
Disadvantages: not for graphics, or design application
...If you want to to build a low-cost but reliable system, the Intel Celeron chip is always the chip I consider using in comparison with all the other chip like AMD or etc . The celeron is fast enough to watch DVD from the computer write application have multiboot system. Play games etc. From the other hand if you using graphics packages or design programm don't go for celeron Dot think about the money buy a PIII which is more fast in this kind of application.
But ofcourse is much more expensive. I can also recomend overclocking the celeron which is safe, Intel know about they first use to overclocking the DX2 33 to 66Mz. But however the decision is yours....

Gamening processor
Advantages: price, power, stability, stable temperature
Disadvantages: frequent maintenance of heatsink
...This processor has been a long time one of the fastest processors on the market. It is a very good single-core processor. For a reasonable price you can get quality.
And now you can compare with dual-core processors. Is it processor for computer players. His speed is very appropriate. This processor has no problems with processing complex game scripts unlike AMD processors. I am gamer and i havenīt problems with the power. The other good feature is the intelligent power management. If the CPU utilization does so, his power reduced. This will reduce the consumption of the PC and the CPU temperature drops and the fan slows down. CPU temperature is very stable. The rest is held at 37 ° C and under load around 44 ° C. At maximum power the temperature to 48 ° C. Cooling is provided by heatsink supplied with processor and is fully...

A little dated - but still reliable
Advantages: Proven track record.
Disadvantages: A little dated.
...The Celeron does not have the brand name punch that the Pentium does, but, none the less, it a solid and reliable chip. It doesn?t have any problems with floating point division either!
This chip is getting a little dated now and I wouldn?t advice anyone to buy a brand new machine that has one, or even two, of these chips.
If, however, you are looking at a second hand personal computer or you are looking at buying a number of computers suitable for, say, all the secretaries in the office then the Celeron could be just the chip you need. This is a reliable little device and will bring with it that ?Intel Inside? sticker - that might not wash any more with members of the Information Technology staff but it could very well keep the boss upstairs happy.
The standard Celeron clocks at around 350+ Mhz range, so when we?re looking...
