MSi 845E Max (6566e) Pentium 4 motherboard

Advantages: Fast, cheap, stable, excellent support and v good manual
Disadvantages: Requires a minimum of Win ME upwards

...Ive been using the MSi 845E max (6566e) motherboard for the past 2 years and it still performs as stable now as it did back then. The board itself is very well packaged and comes with all the usual extras including drivers CD and IDE cables for both CD-roms/hard drives and floppy disc aswell as an excellently informative and well laid out manual. The 845E Max by MSi supports all Pentium 4 processors as well as Celerons upto 3.06 ghz using the built in 845E Intel chipset and includes full support for both 133mhz front side bus (FSB) quad pumped (133 x 4 = 533 fsb) Pentium 4's and 184 pin PC 2100 (266mhz) DDR memory upto 2 ghz, there are 2 available memory slots which is plenty for most people and i whole heartedly recommend firstly adding 1 x 512mb of DDR to the motherboard so as to leave 1 free DDR slot if you ever chose to add...

THE INTEL PROCESSOR.

Advantages: HAS FAST PROCESSING ABILITIES.
Disadvantages: : THE FAN CAUSES NOISE.

...The Intel processor has made me to see many reasons to update my PC with It. The Intel processor since I installed it has been serving me very well. My most likes on it is that it is very fast in processing and that has paved way for my pc to perform many things like in the case of playing games with my pc and the rest of them. The processor is quite easy to install so when it comes to that, there is no problem in doing that but to achieve a reliable goal on installation, you must have to read the instruction manual very well for the manufacturers brief description on the product. The installation of this processor has given my pc a very good processing speed and abilities. I got this because this was the best processor I could afford to buy at that moment. Well I look forward on buying another advanced make of the Intel...

Review of Intel Pentium 4 530J / 3 GHz processor

THE INTEL PROCESSOR.

Advantages: VERY HIGH SPEED IN PROCESSING
Disadvantages: : MAKES NOISE.

...I got this just for two reasons; the number one reason is that my other Intel seems to be outdated and the number two reasons is that I wanted a more advanced and faster processor for my PC gaming so I had to buy this for these reasons. The processor comes in an orange packed colour with blue stripe at the edge of the pack and also with an instruction, heat stick and fan for cooling down the temperature. The processor makes it outright for easy installation and application so no problem when it comes to installations and ease of use. The Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHZ socket 775 CPU has hyper technology and I think that was the best processor computer product I could find in the market and I decided to buy it after a long battle between Intel and athlon processor on which one to buy. The Intel processors that I have been using have been...

Intel Core i7 920 Review

Advantages: Fast, quad core, best for gaming, runs cool, big cache size
Disadvantages: price

...The Intel core i7 is the new processor range from Intel. The core i7 is the fastest processor yet to be unleashed into the marked. It comes in three different models at the moment however there are plans to release another 3 more. At the moment of when this review was written there are only three types; 920 (2.66 GHz), 240 (2.93 GHz) and the 940 Extreme Processor (3.2 GHz). each of the processors have 8MB of cache which means you will be able to run your PC faster as it will use large memory to process the information. the i7 is also a quad core CPU which means it will multi-task extremely well. When I used this Processor on my system, it ran extremely fast and only using about 8% of CPU usage when opening programs, surfing the web, watching a DVD. It rarely goes over 50% when playing games such as Counter Strike: Source and Left 4...

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (Performance Computing For The Masses)

Advantages: Speed, Reliability, Overclockability and Price!
Disadvantages: None!

...The Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3Ghz CPU is a triumph of computing technology, It combines cool running temperatures, Good clock speeds and Great performance for a low affordable price. These CPU's are well suited to Gaming applications due to their calculation proccess and their Overclockability, This CPU will run all modern games and future games with ease! providing great FPS Rates and great gaming enjoyment, speeds of 3.6Ghz + can be achieved easily on stock cooling. With after-market cooling much higher clock speeds can be achieved. This CPU is very stable and reliable even when overclocked. I was originally hooked on AMD CPU's and was adament that they provided better gaming performance, However after i finaly took the leap to see what all the fuss was about with the Intel C2D CPU's i have never looked back, These CPU's far out...

Intel Xeon The Best Server Processor!

Advantages: Fast, Cheap, Stable
Disadvantages: Nothing

...1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from store. Pros: Excellent performance per watt. I'll be using these processors in a machine that will be doing a lot of video compression and 3D modeling, which are some of the applications that Intel processors are better suited for than A M D's (comparing the Clover town X e o n to the Barcelona O p t e r o n). I like A M D's C P U s too, but I n t e l s are the better tool for these jobs. Cons: None so far, but there is a caveat that purchasers should be aware of. The LGA771 socket requires a special case that accommodates the heat sink for the processors. The LGA771 specs require that the heat sink be attached directly to the case instead of the motherboard. And so the case needs a special set of standoffs or a mounting plate for the heat sink to screw onto. Intel says the case...

If any one want the PC for internet and for entertainment then every one will go for this.I used this mother board for 4 years there is no problem with the mother board. This mother board is made to support support the Intel Celeron processor in the mPGA478-pin package and If we come to the features of this mother board we have two slot for RAM and the bus speed of this mother board is 333 MHz FBS.according to Intel the 845 Mother board can support up to 2GB RAM but in my experience it can support up 1GB to 1.5GB of RAM and we also have six USB 2.0 slots four in rear ports and two front-panel USB 2.0 ports. Intel Desktop Board D945GCCR

Advantages: VREY FAST
Disadvantages: none

...This is my third mother board i am working.I bought this moth board two years ago and till now i did not have any problem this is the best mother board i have worked. This mother board will work if we have a compatible processor like Intel Core2 Duo, Intel Pentium D, Intel Pentium 4.But the processor should be greater than 2.99Ghz if the processor is less than this then it will to work.Dual core processor means there will be two processors working simultaneously with multi threading concept for better performance. So your processor is 2.2Ghz dual core Processor then it is 2.2+2.2=4.4GHz. This mother board contain two slots for RAM and its bus speed supporting up to 800/533 MHz and we will use DDR2 RAM for this mother board.we have no separate port for printer but we can access printer using USB this is new...

A Return to the Intel Fold

Advantages: Blistering performance. Good overclocker. 64-bit processing.
Disadvantages: Pricey. Heat sink and fan is a little strange.

...rated processor, can effectively be a money saver. Having read many articles concerning the Core 2 Duos, I decided that I did, indeed, wish to move across to this architecture. One small problem though, was that my old system had effectively reached the end of the upgrade line. This meant that I would need to buy new: - processor - motherboard - DDR2 memory - PCI Express graphics card - SATA hard drive (not essential, but advisable) I weighed up the pros and cons between the different Core 2 Duos, and decided that the E6600 was the way to go. I wanted the slowest rated version of the 4MB cache CPU. This doubled (from the 2MB of the E6300 and E6400) cache is another factor of the CPU that can speed up number crunching processes. I won't go into details of the rest of the hardware that I bought - it's largely irrelevant here. It...

INTEL INSIDE!!!!

Advantages: Very fast,Very stable, you get something for your money,Intel quality
Disadvantages: -

...Hi i decided to write again an opinion for Ciao UK, please don't forget im german, still a pupil, but i try to write correct:) HISTORY: Intel and AMD are "enemies" for a long time now, they are the 2 big companies in the processor industry, some other companies tried there luck too, but they failed very hard. About 5-7 years ago Intel was in the lead with there Pentium 1,2 and finally 3, but AMD had there first strike when they presented there AMD Athlon, and the low budget version AMD Duron, this was the first time when AMD had faster processor, and they were even cheaper! Intel had there next crash when they presented the new Pentium 4, code name "Willaminete", he was slow, hot and expensive. AMD introduced their new AMD Athlon XP+ (for example AMD Athlon XP 1800+).The number wasnt the clock speed, it was the speed how fast...
