...I was looking to make an intel build after having last used the intel core i3 2120 (which was actually suprisingly good for games). However, I require more than 2 cores for things like video editing and streaming and my most recent AMD FX 8320 did well in those areas. Insanely efficient, SS4 instruction capabilities, unlocked multiplier

fairly expensive, some more programs need to be multi threaded

...beast. They are just as impressive and still have the 12mb cache. If you are a forward thinking gamer or encode etc then this chip is definitly for you. Dont go dual core. Already Intels aggresive pricing techniques have made this obsolete. Why 2 when you can get 4 cores? Highly recommended. Just a helpful reminder. Quad core Kentsfields are NOT supported on the 680i chipsets. Dont tell me...
