...After having very short and spiky hair for most of my teens and early 20's, I decided earlier this year that I need a change and decided to grow my hair. When it got to a certain length, I purchased a pair of £20 straighteners from a supermarket. Being the 'typical' man, I decided that straighteners were straighteners, and I was not going to pay over the odds for a product that would no doubt do the job just as well. After getting sick and tired of waiting about 5 minutes for my straighteners to heat up, and about 45 minutes trying to get my hair straight, I decided on the recomendation of my friend to purchase a pair of the GHD mini thin straighteners. They come in a neatly presented box, with quite stylish packaging. The box had instructions on how to use and safety advice, which I would recomend reading due to the heat factor...

Great for short thin hair

Advantages: Heat very quickly
Disadvantages: Unable to cope with my thick hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

...The title is pretty much self-explanatory. This book defies all logic and reasoning! In this day and age of slasher movies and extremely pitiful thrillers, Intensity is a psychological thriller that definitely delivers! I still shudder (with both, terror and delight) at the very thought of this book! Intelligent plot and characters, intriguing choice of settings, mysterious, chilling (I sat up till dawn clutching my stuffed bear!) . . . there is nothing bad anyone can say about this book. You MUST get the Audiotape also. I've watched the little made-for TV movie (the fact that I even turned the tube on says a lot) and read the book over 13 times. I would put this book, and its hauntingly memorable characters, up there with Agent Starling and Hannibal Lecture in "Silence of the Lambs" and Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, and Morgan Freeman...

Intensely rubbish!

...of the tube I'm told it's Intense Volume (TM) and around the back I'm told it's 'Fantastic volume with perfect separation and curl for lusher lashes and that's it's hypo-allergenic, the size is stated (as I've listed already) and contact details for Boots are given. On the top of the tube there is a colour coded label (as this is available in black, black/brown, brown and navy colour choices) and your told what colour it is (in my case I have the black colour). Nice enough tube and it's got a nice curve to the middle of it for ease of handling. Also it's a robust plastic meaning I find that with No7 mascara's in general they don't scratch and/or look scruffy over time and stay looking presentable. The Mascara Itself: Well untwist the top part and your met with a long sturdy plastic 'wand' and on the end of that there is twisted type of brush...

This is a perfume that can be used for almost any occassion, light enough for day wear yet, equally sexy and seductive enough for a night out. The scent is also long lasting and, although the aroma will not be as strong or noticeable as when first applied, it will comfortably last all day. Priced at around £34 for a 50ml bottle (although better deals can be found online) the price is not cheap but remains affordable, and you get the quality that you would expect at that price. Good Hair Day? Definitely!

...I've had these hair straighteners for roughly six months now and have used them probably every day since I was given them, so I feel fairly qualified to give my opinion: that I really can't recommend them highly enough!! The quality of GHDs is unbeatable - I've used a lot of hair straighteners in my time, and I've got to say that they really do give consistently good results. They heat up in roughly fifteen seconds, and you can straighten hair very quickly in a rush with a fairly good finish - which as you can imagine saves huge amounts of time in the mornings! Generally, unless your hair is remarkably stubborn, the hair will also stay straight for the duration of the day.
