There was a white fluffy bathrobe and slippers, which is always a plus point, bathroom scale (not so good!) and lovely Korres toiletries and a hygiene kit containing face pads, cotton buds and a mini sewing kit. Advantages: fun to play with family and friends, lots of game choices, some really fun games, multiplayer

...We stayed at Inter Continental Malta during our recent visit to Malta (Feb 2007). The hotel is located in a very convenient location, at St George's Bay. The hotel is about 10 km from airport and can be reached by taxi. The cost is 9 Lm (about £12). Taxi has to be booked from a central point and fare variation by different drivers is not there! Most 4 or five star hotels have a reasonable size driveway, but this hotel is a high rise building and stands right on the roadside. You will be able to 'walk in' from the taxi or car drop off point. There is no provision to park here. Hotel has an underground parking for guests. Right across the hotel is a large shopping area and a huge McDonald's! sports resort got me active!!!!

Advantages: great fun, great multiplayer capabilities
Disadvantages: possibly the price but other than that nothing!!!!

...Wii sports resort is the next step up from the original wii sports game, only not only is it a step up its a leap forward in the fun factor. With even more sports available its difficult to get bored of this game, and very easy to get addicted to it!!!! There are 12 sports available on the game:- swordplay Wakeboarding Frisbee Archery basketball table tennis golf bowling power cruising canoeing cycling airsports. So far my favourite sports have been the wakeboarding, the frisbee and the table tennis, although i have tried all of the sports on the game and i liked everyone of them. Most of the sports on the game can be played with up to four players and there are options for matches, tournaments and vs games on each of the sports.   Meedhupparu: A Pearl of a Resort

Advantages: Stunning beauty, tranquility, dive sites
Disadvantages: Italians on an ice-cream company conference. Err...that's about it.

However, nearly two years later, still childless and facing the prospect of infertility treatment, we decided to spend the (by now unnecessarily large) baby funds on a holiday to cheer ourselves up. We found a last minute deal online to the four-star Meedhupparu Island Resort for the first two weeks in January 2001. The price was around £800 each for full board, which seemed a real bargain. However, we struggled to find the resort in any of the mainstream brochures (including our carrier - JMC) as it only opened in June 2000, so I guess we took a small gamble. The resort is now carried by major operators including First Choice and Thomson, and a similar fourteen night break with Thomson departing from Gatwick on the 1st Jan 2006 would set you back £1,399 each.
