...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time...

...I would just like to write a review on home study, something that I am sure that many of us have all done at one time or another. It is not something that we enjoy doing, and yet it makes up an important part of our studying times. For many, studying at home is perhaps the most hardest part of studying because a lot of the time it is something that you do on yur own - and because there are no other people about, it is hard to get in to the habit of doing so because nobody will smack your legs if you don't do it! Advantages: Incredibly addictive read. Interesting story and characters
Disadvantages: If not pre-warned about it the second part could seem WEIRD!

Belfast International Airport

The day before we where to depart to orlando the shoe bomber came on the scene! So the airport secuirty was put up. But the airline I was travelling with most of their planes had Technical difficuilties. So I was delayed for 30 hours and had to stay in the Hilton over night. So I should be able to tell you enough about it as I was in it for 24 hours. Area... The Belfast airport isn't in belfast, it is closer to Antrim a city near belfast. The airport is around 12 or 13 miles away from Belfast. So I don't know why they called it Belfast International Airport. But there is a hotel beside the airport. Faro is situated centrally along on the Algarve coast of Portugal and so gives easy access to most of the coastal resorts . The airport is quite large and a very busy destination . As we were disembarking and being herded onto a bus to take us to the arrivals, more planes were departing and landing . There are nice gardens surrounding the airport . The views as you fly in low over the sea are quite spectacular at times and disappointing at others .The 'mud flats' look very unappealing . Unlike England smoking restrictions are only the same as they ever were . This means that as soon as you are through arrivals you are able to smoke in the airport . ...present with the variety of clubs and organisations - one of particular fancy to me looks the radio and newspaper aspect as the uni hold their own airwaves. There are of course many other chances, but to me that isn't specifically aimed at this review. You may argue that most of this information isn't part of the specified topic but to justify myself I feel that it is important to know about the uni as well as the course. *The Course Itself* Ok, so to study Politics, International and European Studies, I was given the offer of 240 points. This can be achieved through either 2 AS levels and 2 A Levels or 3 A Levels with the inclusion of general studies.
